Campus Village - E. Lansing, east-lansing-mi

From what I’ve seen, Campus Village East Lansing looks like a really solid option for student living. The location is super convenient for getting to campus and nearby spots, which is a huge plus. The apartments themselves seem clean, modern, and well-kept, and the layout looks comfortable for everyday living. I’ve also heard good things about how quickly maintenance responds and how well the property is managed overall, which makes a big difference when choosing a place to live. The community seems pretty calm and organized, which is something I’m definitely looking for. Overall, as a prospective resident, it comes across as a reliable and stress-free place to live, especially for students who want something both convenient and well-maintained.

Lived here last year and honestly? I miss it. The location made getting to campus super easy, and the apartments were clean, modern, and comfortable to live in throughout the year. It felt like a solid balance between student-friendly and still well-maintained. One thing that stood out during my time there was how responsive maintenance was. Anytime I put in a request, it was handled pretty quickly, which made a big difference. The community itself was also pretty quiet and easy to live in. The staff played a big role in that experience too. Christina, in particular, was great to work with. She was always friendly, easy to talk to, and quick to help with anything that came up. It definitely made living there feel a lot less stressful knowing someone was that reliable. Overall, I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and well-run place to live in East Lansing.

Current resident. I hate to leave this review because the office and maintenance staff are SUPER friendly and helpful But… The first floor apartment has pest problems, and the old (and honestly musty) carpets make mouse poop invisible. We have gotten mice in our unit 3 times now, no idea how they’re getting in besides under the door, which is raised enough for them to run in. They leave droppings on the stove, counters, everywhere. We don’t leave food out either. There’s also bad sealing on the windows so tons of black beetles also keep coming into my bedroom unit whenever the sun is out. We reported the mice and the employees said there’s “nothing they can do,” which isn’t their fault because they aren’t given the funding/resources by CV to add stoppers under doors, set mouse traps in hallways, hire/rent carpet cleaners, etc... Campus Village policy is the problem. They operate pretty cheaply. When we moved in, the carpet was already stained in some areas from past use. What really rubs it in is the fact that I have seen the inside of a friend’s unit who pays the same price, and it’s got nice hardwood floors and new cabinets and sink area. Residents with these older, unsightly rooms should be given a discount. Unless Campus Village pays for carpet cleaning after rodents, or does anything else to take responsibility for the pest issues, I rate the place 2 stars. Not worth the price, much cleaner apartments near campus.

What a beautiful building with incredible people. I had heard great things about Campus Village from my friends who live there, and although I had visited a few times and heard positive reviews about the amenities and the units themselves, I was interested in delving more deeply into the potential of signing at Campus Village. This led me to schedule a tour with Rachel, who far exceeded my expectations. From the moment I scheduled the tour, Rachel was an absolute delight with whom to speak, and on the tour she offered me one of the most engaging and informative tours I have ever experienced. Prior to the tour, I had many questions about the living area, costs, and the community, and Rachel answered each question with tremendous detail and care. She made certain to cater to my individual wants and needs, and following the tour, I could truly visualize myself living at Campus Village. Aside from the spacious units and the cleanly signing office, I felt that the parking lot and the gym were beneficial additions to an already wonderful apartment complex. Needless to say, I signed the lease. Campus Village and its staff fraught with support and kindness, calmed my anxieties about living off-campus. I can only hope that in the future, I will continue to see Rachel and the other staff around the building; they have welcomed me into their community and made me nothing short of ecstatic to live at Campus Village.

My tour of Campus Village East Lansing with Rachel was one of the most thorough and enjoyable tours I have ever been on. She took the time to understand what mattered most to me and tailored the tour to focus on the features and layouts that matched my needs. She explained everything from pricing to transportation to the little conveniences that make daily life easier. Her professionalism and kindness were unmatched. Because of her I left with a clear sense of what living at Campus Village would be like and the impression was a very positive one.
