I’ve lived at ASL since 2021 and there are definitely better options in Downtown Denver. It feels like they only care about money and will do all they can to drain every last penny from you. The biggest issues: They shut off the Water/ Hot Water constantly and have gone days without bringing it back. The last time they shut it off was actually last week as I write this review. When it came back on black tar came out for a few minutes. The RA’s are a little disrespectful and constantly give misinformation. The most recent was they gave me a fake email to get in contact with management. I had to physically go upstairs to try and solve my problem and found out the email I was given was invalid. They’ve also said contradictory things in which the property has had to refund me due to the misinformation. The WiFi- in December of 2025 they decided to terminate our WiFi and it was out for a whole month without our consent. They then got new WiFi but it barely works. I could NOT go a whole month without internet, I had to buy my own for school, work and entertainment. It was unacceptable. The elevators are always broken. Sometimes you have to walk 20+ floors to exit the building and sometimes you have to wait a good 10 minutes for the only elevator that works. This happens regularly as well. The Washing Machines used to be completely free but now you have to spend $3 to wash and $3 to dry. The electricity and utilities used to be completely free too but within this past year they added that additional charge. The trash rooms are disgusting, they don’t seem to take out the trash a lot. The package lockers don’t work yet they’re still charging you for that too. Theres not really a sense of community. I’ve lived here for almost 6 years and for the past 3 years I’ve barely known my roommates. Right now my Dad is really sick and I had signed a renewal for 2026/ 2027. I would have liked to stay cuz even with the problems the location is great and my rent is pretty reasonable. I have to cancel and move back home to take care of him though. The property did not care and would not help me get out of the lease easily given my circumstances. I have to pay $1,660 to break a renewal that starts 3 months from now (they would not work with me at all) and based on my circumstances it just shows they don’t really care about the lives of their residents and some of the hardships we go through. Based on everything I’ve listed it definitely feels like ASL wants to drain every last penny from you. Just be cautious. Pros- great location and reasonable rent but they get you with all the additional fees and charges. I don’t have a car but I’m pretty sure it’s like $300 a month to park as well. They’re also doing a contest right now that ends on May 29th where they’re asking residents to write reviews in order to win Eliches passes and I just wanted to make sure no one is misguided by false bribed reviews. Do your research- you should feel safe and comfortable in your home. The economy is already bad right now and ASL is just proving to be as evil as the corporations and billionaires.

Staying here for the summer, and very happy with it. At the start, Max was very helpful with the entire leasing process, and when we recently had AC issues, Wes and the team addressed the issue and provided fair compensation.

I have lived at the lofts for about 5 months and have had a very positive experience. All of the elevators work, and the apartments are in good condition. All of the employees, specifically Max, have made my stay extremely easy-going and welcoming!
