The Venue - Denton, denton-tx

I went to view some apartments and saw this upon entering. The front desk was closed and I just feel bad for people who cars stuck up under, since again they can’t do anything since they was close. I feel like they should of known that it was old and a risk was this happening, this was a lack of responsibility, and one interested resident off.

Just signed a lease but my gf has been a tenant for a year. She had some maintenance issues but due to location we decided to stay there together for the next year. Spoke to Christina and adrian. They took the maintenance issues into consideration. And we're extremely helpful. I believe the maintenance issues are just due to time of year. (Student housing turns. Iykyk) So while maintenance issues were present management has been on top of it and communicative about it. Its been pleasant process and since the unique scenario of our lease they were EXTREMELY ACCOMMODATING and easy to deal with. After the initial application most of the communication has been through text and very responsive which is super convenient for my busy life. Before moving i looked up previous issues. The most common complaint I saw was hot water. That has not been an issue in the apartment over the last year. The only issue is the distance from the water heater means you have to run it for a few minutes due to residual cold water in the lines. Its super normal and I find the previous internet complaints to be somewhat entitled. Its solid community. The gates were closed and locked once move in period ended. They are open anytime someone is in the office and closed all others. Very safe community as far as that We did have a car towed once. This was due to having a rental car that was parked in tenant parking. I believe this could be easily fixed by repainting clearly the guest parking and tenant parking since it wasnt clear where parking is supposed to be. Or a portal to add temporary vehicle changes. This has been my experience here and I find all of it reasonable business, the leasing staff however has been top notch and very helpful. And for a new renters like college students thats a huge thing. So once again Christina and Adrian were amazing

Absolutely incredible place to live. I moved here after a horrible experience with the Arbors of Denton (please do NOT go there), and management and maintenance have been incredible. The agents at the leasing office are always kind, welcoming, and ready to help. I lived in an older unit so quite a few things broke on occasion, and i have an issue with bugs, but all issues promptly treated by maintenance. The team here is incredibly reliable, and I personally consider the rent for what you get spectacular. The amenities are also wonderful and always clean, and the gates always work! They also have two bus stops, which rocks, because if you miss one by you can catch the next one!

I moved here in a rush to get out of my previous hostile living situation. The staff made sure my transition was smooth. I definitely enjoyed my time here. I asked for a first floor due to my physical limitations and they were so helpful and accommodating. While there was no furniture, this place was amazing to live in. I had no issues with staff or even the actual apartment. When I had maintenance requests, it did take some time… but eventually they came to help. A few times the problems wouldn’t be solved so I had to keep requesting maintenance. That being said, they provided me with a space heater to accommodate their errors and made sure I was still taken care of even if the heater to the unit was broken. While the reviews are correct, this place is pricey, but it’s worth it. (Also, I didn’t have any bug issues unlike a lot of the reviews have complained about, so I’m not sure if it’s the building you get or if it was simply a different issue) The staff and management make you feel at home and make sure you’re taken care of no matter what. I only moved out because I wanted to live on my own and found a cheaper place a little further away. I love the Venue and definitely recommend it.

I've really enjoyed my time here and intend to stay a while longer, here are some highlights: -Responses to maintenance requests are prompt and well performed. -No pest problems as I've seen over the course of a year in a "Studio" apartment. -Personable office staff. -Pet friendly complex. -Conveniently located bus stop just outside of the main gates. -Free provided propane and Charcoal grills near the pool The only complaints I could give are nitpicky, but I'll list them anyway: -The free Wifi can get spotty at night when everyone in your building is using it. -since their targeted clientel are college students, rental agreements are automatically set to end in July -In Google maps, the entire complex hasn't been separated out, so people trying to find your apartment need to manually navigate and figure out where it is. -When I first moved into my unit, its initial cleanliness wasn't very good
