The Retreat at Denton, denton-tx

I recently reached out to inquire about leasing an apartment here, and I had a really great experience. The property already seems well-kept and inviting from what I’ve seen and researched. Landyn was especially helpful during the process. He was friendly, professional, and took the time to answer all of my questions about availability, pricing, and the application process. It made the whole experience feel easy and welcoming, which can make a big difference when you’re looking for a new place. If the living experience is anything like the customer service I received from Landyn, I’m sure it would be a great place to call home. I really appreciate the time and help he provided while I was inquiring about a lease.

Maintenance here has been amazing. Every time I’ve submitted a request, they’ve come out quickly and fixed the issue without any hassle. The staff is friendly, respectful, and keeps you updated. It’s really reassuring knowing they take care of residents and the property so well.

Great environment, and roommates. Maintenance takes a while to respond and outside bugs are seen in the downstairs bedroom often. Connecting to the WiFi is also a hassle especially for computers and security cameras. I wish we had an actual WiFi box because the website is not very effective. Overall, the amenities, events and apartments are great, just small maintenance and WiFi issues.

Warning to All Students & Parents—- I have to say of all the places my daughter had to live while attending her four years at UNT…The Retreat in Denton was by far the worst experience! Don’t let the exterior fool you and don’t believe anything the staff tells you! They all are liars and will do and say anything to get you to sign a lease. If you want to read more honest reviews…go look on Yelp. Save yourself a lot of stress and find a Safer & Cleaner place to house your kiddos!

The place feels like it’s run by teenagers. Staff at the front desk are often vaping while working, and management only puts in effort during move-in or summer leasing season. Once you’re a resident, they don’t care. Most of the amenities barely work. The computer lab has only about two working computers and the printer has been broken for months. The gym is just as bad — only two treadmills work and the stair machines and ellipticals have been broken since I moved in. Nothing ever gets fixed. Don’t live here. They overcharge for a horrible building with terrible management. We were without WiFi for three months and every time I called, I got a different answer. It still hasn’t been solved and no one has taken it seriously. Save your money and live somewhere else.
