Eco Park Apartments, dekalb-il

Was a great place to stay. We stayed for 2 years and the maintenance requests were done in a timely manner. The front desk attendants were very kind and often had things during holidays for the community to do. Like pumpkin painting contests during Halloween and candy cane ribbon pulling for Christmas. The apartment was nice and ready for move in and front desk attendants made it apparent on what we should make sure to keep clean for move out. We got cats about 4 months in and the process for getting the pet deposit and payment for cats each month was easy. Highly recommend. Only down side is the area and the people that stay around the eco park community.

Lived here for 2.5 years and really can't say enough great things about them. The leasing office staff is always very clear and quick with communication, accomodating with lease changes, and always seemed to genuinely care about me as a person. Maintainence was absolutely always quick to respond to any requests and they were always courteous (even toward my kitties!). While the units themselves are a bit dated, they are spacious, cozy, and well worth the cost. Would highly recommend renting here in a heartbeat.

I lived in this complex for 4 semesters and have absolutely no complaints. It’s safe, well kept, quiet, and friendly! The landlords are wonderful and work very hard to keep this complex looking clean, and are very reliable with any help you need. It’s close enough to campus to feel involved but far enough away from the hustle of NIU.

My roommate and I had a good experience with Eco Park! Britney's assistance made the application and move in process very easy. The office is on site and she was always happy to help or even just have a friendly chat. There were no major problems during our lease and management was quick to address any concerns or repairs needed. We also appreciated the timely communication to residents about building repairs, inspections, etc. The area is usually quiet despite being so near to campus and the residents are a mix of students and non-students.

This has been a great place for me in the past 3 years. Yes, they're college apartments and the apartments themselves are pretty basic, but I was here to study & it's been a great place for that. The office has always been on top of any noise issue that I had ( like 2) & enforcing the property rules, which I appreciate. Having a computer lab here made my life so much easier too. I didn't have to run to campus all the time. Everyone has always been helpful and made my time here so less stressed than prepping for grad school could have been.
