I couldn’t recommend this place less. Management treats residents horribly, and I have personally been screamed at by the property manager. Upper management also failed to take the mold and water-damage issues in my apartment seriously. I first reported water intrusion in April 2025. In March 2026, I again raised concerns about the possibility of mold and requested to transfer to another unit due to the ongoing water intrusion. I was told I would need to submit a new application, pay the higher current rental rate, and my concerns were once again dismissed. In July 2026, I opened my air vents and the panel around my HVAC system and saw mold myself, which prompted me to obtain an independent environmental inspection. What makes this even more concerning is that management had previously assured me in writing that there was no water intrusion, mold, or mildew after supposedly inspecting the area. My independent testing ultimately identified several different types of mold, including Stachybotrys (commonly referred to as “black mold”), which you can see in the report and photos posted here. I am also aware of multiple units with mold and water-damage issues. Despite the findings and the extent of the problems, management dismissed my concerns and refused to fully compensate me for the resulting damages and expenses. They have been unreasonable and, at times, incredibly rude. There have also been countless other issues with management’s behavior and the way maintenance issues have been handled, including damaging my personal property, but that is a whole other story. If you’re looking for a place to live in Dallas, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Save yourself the headache, your money, and find somewhere safe to live.

I currently live in South Florida and I am planning to move to Dallas. This apartment was my last tour for my trip and I had the best time. Mikky was amazing! She immediately made me feel welcome and after the tour, I wanted to move in that day! I toured around 10 apartments while I was there and she did the tour the best. By the time I move, I hope there is an apartment available! Thank you Mikky!!

I’ve lived here at The Vines for almost 5 years and I absolutely love this community! My apartment is beautiful and well maintained. Anytime I put in a request for maintenance they come within 24 hours and it’s taken care of easy peasy. Melissa, the property manager, is absolutely lovely and very helpful! She’s always pleasant and smiling every time I see her. I’m thrilled to sign another 13 month lease here!

I just moved to Vines at the Turtle Creek last week and wants to write a great review for Mikky Talton. She is personal, responsive, professional, and organized. I did everything from the internet and communicate with her by email or cell phone since I was coming from out of town.. Mikky helped me to get the best views and photos for me to decided to rent the apartment at the Vines. I am incredible impressed with Mikky and really thank her to care of me when i most need it. I Highly recommend her!

Great place to live! Close to Katy trail and very safe! If you live here, though, you have to get used to the airplane sounds since they fly right above as they prepare to land at Love Field. On a good note, Love Field is 10 minutes away.
