Since Foothill-De Anza (FHDA) Community College District took over management of McClellan Terrace Apartments, the quality of service has gone downhill. The staff in the leasing office are consistently rude, never answer phone calls, and rarely reply to emails. On the rare occasion they do, their responses are dismissive, saying they get “hundreds of emails” and don’t have time to respond. This is unacceptable, especially since the previous management companies (Prometheus and McClellan Property Management) were responsive and professional. If FHDA leasing office staff cannot handle the responsibility, these positions should be given to people who can. Parking is also a major problem. With multiple students sharing apartments, there are no proper arrangements for their vehicles. As a result, students park in tenants’ assigned spaces, leaving residents struggling to find parking since unassigned spots are always full. When scheduling a pest control appointment for the apartments, residents spent the entire day waiting, only to get vague response from the leasing office about the pest control company. After making multiple calls and not getting any updates, it became clear that the lack of communication and poor service was only making the situation worse. Overall, FHDA’s management has made living here much more stressful. Tenants deserve better communication, professionalism, and fair solutions to parking issues. Hope FHDA address these concerns promptly by: Improving communication and responsiveness from the leasing office. Reviewing staffing or training to ensure tenants are treated with courtesy. Establishing clear and fair parking policies that prevent misuse of assigned spaces.

My husband and I recently moved into a renovated 2-bedroom 2-bathroom unit in McClellan Terrace Apartments. Everything about the application, leasing and moving in process was handled with such care and consideration. We first toured the unit about a month ago with and the units were well maintained and Mindy was so welcoming. After some discussion, my husband and I decided to apply and move into our new home. Throughout the property, you can see how much the neighborhood staff team care. Maintenance requests are completed in a timely manner. The renovated unit is functional with an in-unit washer/dryer and stylish with green cupboards and black hardware. Mindy is so wonderful and commutative. Even before moving in, it felt like we had a friend in the neighborhood already. We’re happy to call McClellan Terrace our home!

The amenities are top-notch, including a well-equipped gym and inviting pool. The management team is responsive, professional, and genuinely cares about residents' needs. Their communication is outstanding, with regular updates and prompt responses to any inquiries or concerns. The management team is always approachable and ensures residents are well-informed about community events and maintenance schedules. This level of communication has created a strong sense of trust and reliability. Also, the location is perfect, it offers a peaceful environment while being close to several schools. Overall, Prometheus has transformed McClellan Terrace into an exceptional living experience!
