Save your money and rent elsewhere. This place is disgusting. Roaches and spider infestation, Refrigerator leaking on the floor, A/C not working properly and vents covered in thick dust, sink, disposal, and dishwasher clogged and backed up—broken window and no blinds and lights burnt out. The unit wasn't inspected or cleaned after we repeatedly told them that a resident had severe allergies to pets and there was evidence of a cat in the unit by the previous resident. There was still cat fur on the furniture and a litter box on the back porch. There was poison ivy growing up the side of the front door. Management's response to these issues was that residents can wash their dishes in their bathtub or bathroom sink and that pest control only comes once a month. The window won't be replaced because it's double-paned and isn't letting any air in. The AC isn't working properly, with the humidity inside reading at 86%!! Toilet paper, clothing, and bedding are wet from the humidity, and the walls are so wet that everything slides right off; nothing will stick. Ownership should be ashamed to have a Property Management company that operates this way. I would imagine there are many health and safety violations at this property. It's been over 5 days, and nothing has been done. Unacceptable.

They stick to their lease agreement. The grounds are not taken care of when it comes to pet waste. Buildings are correctly advertised. New management is less personable. The dog park made my dog sick.

Horrible experience. We arrived for move-in and found that one of the four roommates lived here last year and the apartment had not been cleaned in years and former roommates had left all kinds of stuff. It was a fraternity apartment for 5 years with rotating roommates. The front porch and the back porch are covered in crap that needs to be thrown out and the pantry and refrigerator and freezer are completely full of old stuff. The walls haven’t been painted in years. There is enough dog here to create an entire new dog. This apartment is not even livable. I’m soooo angry.

I just moved out in the summer after living there for two years and enjoyed every minute of it. The staff is very kind and does their best to help out with any issues that arise. I highly recommend this property to anyone searching for a place to live while attending WCU.

Flagship Western is an easy choice if you attend school at WCU! I lived at Flagship while I was a student and I absolutely loved it. HUGE shoutout to Dawson, the maintenance supervisor. Dawson is incredibly hardworking and it shows through everything he does for the complex. Despite being the only maintenance man on property he gets the job done. Lindsay, Diana, and Posie make an amazing team as they always make sure their residents needs are met. I am super sad to leave Western but so glad I got the experience to live at Flagship!
