The apartment itself is not too bad, I have one of the bigger bedroom spaces living room isn’t that bad in the kitchen isn’t too bad either, my problem is how thin the walls are and you can hear everything from your roommates to whatever is happening outside, there’s so many bugs and roaches in the living room, the front desk never answers the phone if you have any concerns, and maintenance get to whatever issue you are having whenever they feel like it. I had to put in multiple requests to get my ac fixed after 4 days after being told my ac was working when it clearly wasn’t. They do so many check of the apartment but when you actually need something they don’t fix it. Security is severely lacking as well, as my car got broken into and they basically did nothing. Genuinely I don’t recommend living here.

Stay away!! I’ve recently moved out and I can say this was the worst housing mistake I’ve made. This complex looks nice on the outside, but on the inside, management doesn’t care about its renters. The walls in the apartment don’t prevent sound, so anything in the living room/kitchen, you can hear and vice versa. It’s annoying to know this is student housing but they don’t care about the students enough to put good sound proofing in the walls for students trying to study in their own bedroom spaces. If you apply here, make sure you apply with friends to live with. I was roomed with randoms that have been loud since I moved in, and management had said that even though I am having roommate difficulty, they will not move my bedroom space unless I pay THEM. Even when I said I had pictures of the filth my roommates were causing: growing mold in the kitchen, stacking tons of dishes in the sink to the point I could not fit a cup under the faucet, etc. Management still said I had to pay to move into a different unit on the property, like it was my fault? When I requested a different unit, they said they could put me with non-students. So, be aware that older people who are not attending a university or college also live here, which I find to be creepy considering this is student housing. When I asked for additional information about these possible future roommates, like ages, I was never replied to. Additionally, it seems like 2-3 times a month that the Wi-Fi seems to go out, and it keeps happening which is extremely annoying to those who have virtual classes, or important things they have to do, or just to renters in general, because of how long this issue has occurred for and how this issue is still not solved. On top of that, I saw a similar review saying that the front office will enter units without further notice or even letting you know the same day, this is true. I also agree with the other reviews saying this complex will charge you for damages already there at outrageous prices. I don’t even want to know what they’ll try to charge me for. STAY AWAY!

I had such a great experience with this apartment complex! From the very beginning, the management team was amazing. They were professional, kind, and went above and beyond to answer all of my questions about the community. No matter how small the detail, they took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt confident and informed throughout the entire process. The property itself is beautiful and well taken care of, but what really stood out to me was how helpful and approachable the staff is. It’s rare to find a management team that is this responsive and genuinely cares about their residents. Their excellent communication and willingness to go the extra mile made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend this complex to anyone looking for a place to call home—you’ll be in great hands here!

DO NOT LIVE HERE I lived at Midtown for a short period, and unfortunately it was the most unsafe and disorganized living experience I have had. The conditions were concerning enough that I chose to break my lease in order to move out early. The property appears to prioritize attracting incoming college students rather than maintaining a safe and well-managed environment. The complex was poorly maintained, and unauthorized individuals frequently entered and exited the premises. On multiple occasions, I witnessed police responding to incidents, and there were several car break-ins during my time there. I ultimately moved out after my unit was broken into. Despite this, management did not take meaningful steps to address safety concerns, such as increasing security. Additionally, I am still in ongoing discussions with the property regarding rent matters, even six months after moving out. I strongly recommend thoroughly researching all available housing options before considering Midtown. There are many safer, cleaner, and more affordable alternatives in Corpus Christi.

Midtown is amazing! Always engaging with the residents, from having food trucks to little fun things in the clubhouse! The staff is a super friendly super nice group of people! I’ve never had any issues and they have made my living experience much better! The pool is awesome, clubhouse is perfect, and I truly love the study/computer room!!
