The Pier Conway, conway-sc

I have really enjoyed my time at The Pier Conway, especially since the new management and maintenance teams took over. The difference they have made is amazing! The staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and quick to respond to any questions or requests. Maintenance is also super efficient now. My absolute favorite part about all the recent changes has to be the brand-new gym floor! It looks incredible and makes working out here so much better. Because the community is running so smoothly and the new team is so great to work with, I just decided to renew my lease for another year! Highly recommend living here.

THE WORST!!! My daughter has been here since Sept. Trash does not get picked up; pools are green when they are open. She has been paying for a parking pass since Aug and they still have not given her one. Nobody in the rental office cares. She signed a lease at another place for next year. This place should not even be habitable! That is how bad this apartment is. Please - parents - DO NOT LET YOUR KIDS RENT FROM HERE. We have contacted the state health department and the state attorney general to see if we can get someone to listen because the Pier management - if you can actually call them management-just lets things get worse without any corrective action. We are beyond disgusted with this place. My daughter also said that student in another building had a positive test for mold and she reported to the health department. Lets see if either the pier takes care of it or it gets condemned.

DO NOT SIGN HERE!!! Whether you are a parent signing for your child, or a coastal student finding an apartment, the two right next to the pier is 1000% better than here. Been living here two years, to which there has been roach infestations, amenities being closed because chlorine bills weren't paid and pools were not cleaned, grills, fire pits not working with no resolutions (and we are still paying for). The trash company does NOT pick up trash on a regular basis, and you are paying for that too. Also raised rent and the bills for electric is like paying for a Small house. Need something fixed in your apartment? Forget about it. Currently been two weeks on waiting for a maintenance request (and the parts have not been ordered yet). If you go on a tour, they'll only take you along the first floor because the other floors are disgusting, and only power wash for move in and then will not do it again until the next semester. I beg anyone who is looking here strongly consider otherwise, as you will regret it. The reason they are begging on social media for spots is because everyone is leaving.

I’ve lived here for about two years now and it’s been a really positive experience. One thing that meant a lot to me when I was looking for a place was finding somewhere that was genuinely pet friendly since I have a dog. It’s nice being in a community where dogs are welcomed and you regularly see other residents out walking their pets.

I have had many issues with the pier while living here although the new maintenance team had been nothing but helpful and understanding. Thomas (who runs maintenance) has been so phenomenal when I put in work orders for things around the apartment, they get done efficiently and correctly.
