I lived for 2 years in an apartment in Neil Avenue, managed by Shelby Management, and had a great experience with Steve and other staff. The maintenance folks were always very responsive and very helpful. I recommend renting from Shelby Management.

I have lived in an apartment managed by Shelby Management for a total of four years and recently vacated my apartment after a recent two-year stay. The apartment was well-located very close to Ohio State. It is very safe, secure, and quiet. The management was very good and the maintenance crew always responded to my requests promptly and did the work very professionally. The manager of the complex was also very professional, cordial, and prompt in addressing any issues or requests that I had. I was given a full refund of my deposit without hesitation and it was sent to me within just a few days after I vacated the apartment. I highly recommend Shelby Management. Highly recommend Shelby Management, significantly better than most other leasing companies around the OSU area! I rented through Shelby for 4-5 years, at two different locations and I had a great experience! They are very responsive when maintenance requests are put in and will fix urgent problems immediately so you are never left waiting long. Maintenance crew is very friendly and nice to work with! Overall made renting an easy experience and are more than fair about returning your security deposit when you move out, if you are respectful to the property!

Shelby Management was one of the better leasing companies I have had experience with on OSU campus. Steve was always helpful, and maintenance was timely, although rarely needed for my apartment (no issues except a battery change in the fire alarm and a fuse blown due to my silly little self). Overall, would recommend to someone, and would rent from this company again.

Leased through Shelby Management quite a few years ago while I was in college, but recently had to reach out to get a copy of my lease. Steve was more than happy to help, which is what caused me to decide to write this review. While living there, any time we had any maintenance issues someone was quick to respond and come over. Steve and all of the maintenance guys were all very friendly. Apartment was in good shape. Rented through 5 or so campus companies and Shelby was definitely one of the best we dealt with.
