I’ve been living at Campus Lodge for approximately 7 months, and it’s been a great experience overall. The location is convenient for me going to work and shopping, and the property is kept clean and well maintained. The office staff and maintenance team are friendly, responsive, professional and usually handle requests within 2 days. Amenities like gym, pool, parking, laundry, etc. are a big plus and are kept in good condition. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, family-friendly, pet-friendly I would highly recommend leasing here for anyone.

UPDATE: our apartment flooded and is covered in mold! Maixtenance was RUDE and dismissive of the entire issue. (Which is a health hazard!) Overall: you get what you pay for, which is cheap. Don’t pay over $500-$600/mo. Matter of fact don’t live here! —>Furniture: Couch is cheap and ours is scratched up. We filed with front desk its condition, will update if we are held liable for previous cat owner’s damages. The kitchen table’s legs are bent inwards and constantly leans. —>Appliances: Gas oven consistently causes the fire alarm to go off, even boiling water. Additionally, the laundry machine doesn’t fill dry clothes, despite smaller loads and an empty lint trap. Maintenance comes, says its lint trap, and doesn’t fix the issue. Hot water does not last, and 0 water pressure from the showerhead. —>Property: speed bumps are sharp and WILL damage the base of your car, even going 1-3 mph. Alongside numerous deep potholes. Not well-lit at night. —>Amenities: Gym equipment is heavily outdated and broken. 2 benches, 1 broken. 2 cables, 1 broken. Leg press broken. Shoulder press also broken. All early 2000s or earlier. The pool skimmers also need to be cleaned much more frequently, as bugs litter the entire pool. Mild wasp issue alongside the deck too. —>Management: sporadic pool closures (as of mid-June, it’s been 3 separate occasions) isn’t helpful with package mishaps, as well as sending out punitive reminders about opening/closing gym windows.

Rent is outrageously expensive for the tiny amount of space you actually get. What they don’t show you upfront are all the unnecessary fees hidden throughout their massive seventy-page lease. First, you’re forced to pay around $60 just to use Conservice, the utility company they REQUIRE tenants to go through. Then your actual utility bill shows up and somehow it’s over $100 every month. It honestly feels intentional. They give tenants outdated, inefficient appliances that drive utility costs higher and higher the more you use them. You end up paying ridiculous amounts just to live comfortably. The staff is another major issue. There are a handful employees who treat you like a normal human being. Everyone else acts like they’re above you, stares at you when you ask questions, and treats residents like an inconvenience instead of paying customers. The gym is constantly dirty. There’s always hair, grime, dust, and trash sitting around because nobody bothers to properly clean it. For how much residents pay in rent and fees, the amenities are embarrassingly maintained. The shuttle schedule is supposedly designed for students, yet there’s a huge break from 10:10 a.m. to 12:55 p.m. Literally when many students have classes. It makes absolutely no sense and defeats the entire purpose of offering student transportation in the first place. And don’t even get me started on move-out costs. They will charge you insane amounts no matter what condition you leave the apartment in. It genuinely feels like they look for excuses to take every possible dollar from students, even if you’re trying to leave a dangerous or hostile living environment. You also can’t forget the unit switch cost, if you need to switch units for any reason, it’s $350 JUST to switch. Same rent and everything. Circling back to leaving a toxic environment, the managers DONT CARE what happens to you. I told them about my situation and how I needed to leave before my lease ended, just to be told I need to find someone to take over, and I paid hundreds of dollars to LEAVE AFTER I found a subleaser. Another ridiculous thing: they force you to use a payment app for rent, then charge additional fees just to use the app THEY require. Noise complaints are also completely ignored. You can make one complaint, four complaints, or ten complaints - nothing happens. I dealt with nonstop noise for nearly ten months, and management did absolutely nothing to resolve it. Overall, Campus Lodge feels less like student housing and more like a business built around squeezing as much money as possible out of students while providing the bare minimum in return. Easily the worst apartment complex I’ve ever lived in.

*Update (09/02/2025) Campus Lodge emailed me back saying to put a maintenance request in for all these things. Maintenance did come by and fix the leaking shower and sink. On top of this, the a/c wasn’t working well. Went to check on the air filter and the door was covered in dust, dirt, and cat hair. (See pictures) went to the front office, and the employee said sounds like they missed cleaning and replacing the air filter in the room and to put in a maintenance request. We now know to put a maintenance request in for everything, but the issue of the matter is the apartment was presented this way after they just moved in, seems like they do Update - I’ve emailed and called with no response. The only response I’ve received is them responding to this google review. Moved my sister into this apartment today and it was not as expected. The front door was off the door hinges, the baseboards were off the wall and floor in all rooms (you can see in the pictures and videos) the toilet handle was chipped, and there spiders in every corner of the room. There were some centipedes in the bathroom. The bedroom door looked like it has been broken into to. The mirror in the bathroom also had rust all over it along with the curtain rod in the bathroom. The sink leaks underneath when you use it. This was shocking as the model unit did not look like this.

Great experience and well explained benefits of your apartments. They also included how much sound proofing was in the interior walls. They also have a great gym.//Update after my daughter has lived there for a while. They have Zero security there, contrary to what they told us, looking to move her elsewhere.
