Management charged me double rent upon moving in, and then had the audacity to say it’s my fault for paying it and it would take to long to refund me so they just won’t charge me for next months rent. Ever since then it’s been downhill, AC has went out multiple times, 85° in my apartment for days, and my water shut off with no explanation. Tickets are never completed or are closed without any work done often leaving you to fix things yourself. They are not military friendly either, currently waiting for my safety deposit to be released because I got orders. I’ve been a clean tenant, quiet, always paid on time, never complained. Sharon’s attitude and disrespect when it came to moving out was the breaking point. Ask anyone that lives here, she is a horrible person that doesn’t care about the tenants at all. The absolute best part about these apartments and management is once you’ve stayed here, it’s only uphill from here. You will never experience a worse experience, so go ahead, get it out of the way and stay at Newport square apartments. Your apartments in the future will seem like a vacation compared to here.

I rated 1star because I can’t rate 0 but I’ve lived here for a year and I’ve had enough of the maintenance issues that arose while I’ve rented here, I’ve been a good tenant, never paying late and never causing any damage to the property and keeping clean and well kept, I cannot say the same about them. I’ve had my toilet flood from the base of the toilet 4 times in the one and only year I’ve lived here not to mention the plague of millipedes during the summer that pest never corrected, they just sprayed some useless chemicals that never did anything. Also horrible service in the sense that I only have 1 bathroom and I’d come home from work wanting a shower and my bathroom is useless due to the flood from the toilet and they would not consider it a priority. It’s insane. If you want to live here just bear in mind you could be without a bathroom for 2 days or more having to shower at another unit. Rent should not be $1300 for a 2 bed 1 bath when the bathroom is not even functional and can’t keep pests out during the summer. Everything is broken, and if you have kids I urge you to not stay here.

I lived at the Newport Square Apartments for a few years, and overall, it was a great value for the price. While the apartments aren’t brand new, the updated appliances installed before move in helped make up for that. I never had any major issues, aside from a bathroom ceiling leak that was fixed quickly. The complex was very quiet, which was a huge plus. The gym is small but had all the essential equipment and was definitely functional. The sundeck area could use some improvements or the space be used completely different. The only real downside for me was the pest control service. I had Blink indoor cameras in my apartment and often noticed that the workers either didn’t spray at all or only did a small section. Having that video proof allowed me to report it to the office, and they always made sure the workers returned to do the job properly. Sharon in the office is incredibly kind and easy to talk to about any issues. She’s a great asset to the apartment community and makes the experience even better.

I’ve been living at Newport Square Apartments for a while now, and I have to say, the experience has been nothing short of fantastic! Tony, the maintenance man, is incredible. Whenever I bring up issues with the apartment, he is there to fix them in an extremely prompt manner. His efficiency and friendly attitude make dealing with repairs a breeze. Additionally, the ladies in the front office have been extremely polite and helpful, and are quick to assist with any concerns I have. The entire team at Newport Square Apartments truly goes above and beyond to ensure that residents are happy and comfortable. I highly recommend the complex for anyone looking for a great place to live with an outstanding support team!

I've lived in these apartments for 6 years now, so one can say I've seen my share of people and staff come and go. I just needed to inform everyone that the new maintenance guy (Tony) really knows what he is doing!!! His attention to detail and efficiency has definitely made an impact on our community. Very respectful and hardworking. So glad to have someone like him around who actually takes pride in their job to make this place look and feel safe and peaceful
