I’ve had a great experience at 11 West Apartments, especially since the new management took over. The new team has completely changed the atmosphere for the better. They are responsive, professional, and genuinely care about residents. Maintenance requests are handled quickly, communication has improved, and the property feels more organized overall. Another huge plus is the location! we’re super close to the UCCS campus, which makes it incredibly convenient for students and staff. It’s clear the new management is focused on making this a great place to live. Highly recommend!

Go live somewhere else. The price is good, but you can find somewhere better ran by less shady and greedy individuals. After their water heater burst and flooded my apartment, we were sent into a significantly dirtier and worse set of rooms with nothing in terms of rent reimbursement. Wifi is horrible, which is a problem for students living here. Maintenance is a pain to get a hold of, there are issues from when we moved in last summer that have yet to be fixed. I am anticipating erroneous cleaning charges for moving into an apartment that was made dirty before we were put in. The front desk individuals seemed nice enough.

This apartment complex's only upside is the price. They are unresponsive to issues, run you around in circles, and ghost you if there are any issues. If you're interested in the reasoning behind this, here are the following reasons. 1. While I was out of town in california, my apartment flooded. My roommate sent me a video of water leaking out of the ceiling. Thankfully nothing of ours was damaged. The staff made no attempt to contact me about this incident while I was out of town. They gave us a new unit to stay in until the end of our lease, which was filthy. There was a strong smell of animal feces and urine throughout the apartment (according to my roommate when he first moved in there was animal feces IN THE WASHER), the floors were disgusting and not even vacuumed, there were missing pieces of furniture, the locks on multiple doors were broken, and a spot in the carpet of one of the bedooms is tacky and hard from some unknown substance. I obviously went down to the office to complain. Katy acknowledged my issues and said she would escalate my concerns to corporate. It has been just under 3 weeks since the incident and just under 2 weeks since I talked to Katy. I have not gotten any response about a rent concession, having a cleaning crew come to my apartment, or any of the other things I asked for. 2. The wifi is awful. It continuously says connected with no internet. It has done this since I moved in initially. After me and my roommate complaining several times to staff about this, we were ran in circles to end up with them never resolving the issue or providing any way to remedy the situation. I am a student and work remotely, wifi is crucial for these and staff made no indication that they cared at all apart from sending someone out to look at it once (which resulted in nothing changing still). 3. The ethernet in the bedrooms does not work. To try and remedy the wifi issue I plugged my computer into the ethernet port that was in my room. I come to find out that none of the ethernet ports in the rooms are connected. The fancy new fiber internet they were bragging about installing, which only works with wired ethernet, is inaccesible. The staff said that if we wanted to activate these we would have to BUY A PART ONLINE AND FIGURE IT OUT OURSELVES. They essentially just sent us an amazon part with no explanation as to how we are supposed to use it to activate the ethernet port and said figure it out. 4. My bike I use to ride to work was sitting on my patio area on the first floor. Unforunately it was stolen. When I asked the staff for the camera footage, they said they would be happy to provide it to me. I have never gotten that footage. No one has followed up with me about it, and they pretty much just ghosted me. If you plan to live here, don't expect any help from staff about any crimes because they do not care. 5. The office is almost always closed. It is almost impossible to reach them in person and even harder over the phone. They close early constantly. On top of this they are incredibly disorganized. I have been getting spam texted and emailed about renewing even after telling the staff directly that I am not renewing. None of my complaints or problems are noted and it seems like they forget anything I talk to them about the second I walk out of the office. The only good thing I have to say about the apartment is it is relatively cheap. You can definitely get a better deal elsewhere though. Edit: I have now returned to my apartment after the staff said it was fixed. After moving all my things back I realized that the fridge and the dishwasher were both broken. Given that both of these appliances were directly in the flooded area of the apartment, I am shocked the repair crew or staff didn't even bother to test whether or not they were working. Very disappointing.

I am currently still living at 11 West and, very unfortunately, renewed my lease before coming across many problems with this dump. For one, the internet NEVER works. They constantly send emails and texts saying they’re fixing it. Nothing ever happens. Crazy, because last I checked, this is a STUDENT apartment! Also, the office is NEVER open. It’s frustrating because for whatever reason they sometimes deliver packages there, and then I can’t get them for over a week because they are closed when they claim to be open. Also, not that long ago I got locked out of my apartment. Then they send a mass text because it happened to everyone. Had to have them scan the key fob 5 times before it finally worked. General maintenance is awful and very lazy, but I’m not surprised there; that’s typical with every apartment in Colorado. And last but NOT least, I get a text from a random number saying they’re my roommate and moving in THAT NIGHT, with NO NOTICE from apartment management. Overall this place is not worth your time, money, and all of the above. Please AVOID this place at all costs!!!

I would like to begin with the positives of living at 11 West. The front office staff of Theo, Paige, and the other workers are phenomenal. They were infinitely helpful in every stage of my living there, even resolving an issue after and helping me receive a critical peace of mail the sender would not redirect. The maintenance crew when present, also fix all issues professionally. That is it. I am leaving a 2 star review as I have lost over 600 dollars of my deposit to fraudulent charges. After submitting a request through formal means (with a character limit barely above a tweet) I am over 2 weeks without any response. Myself and my room mate worked with great difficulty to make our rooms clean, despite the efforts of a problematic room-mate who was moved into our unit. Concerns were expressed to upper levels of management to no avail. Furthermore the safety is beyond questionable. My car was broken into 2 days from moving in, with no support from management and a reveal of no cameras. Divers are frequently at the dumpsters, and no action was taken upon expression of this issue. Furthermore a mid-lease change in management came with no documentation, meaning the issues I expressed upon move in to my apartment were not retained, then charged back to me upon move out. This is a ridiculous series of circumstances and expectations of tenants that are unreasonable.
