Save your money and look elsewhere. The Hudson charges premium rent, but the property has been completely neglected and management does not seem to care. Basic maintenance and security are virtually nonexistent: No communication: The front office is virtually unreachable when issues arise. We have made multiple attempts to contact managers asking for callbacks to resolve ongoing problems, and not a single person has bothered to call back or respond. Broken facilities & filth: Both elevators are completely broken now. One has been out of service since June, and now neither works, forcing everyone to hike up the stairs in a multi-story building. On top of that, the lobby and elevator areas are filthy, and hand sanitizer stations were taken down and never replaced. Security risks: Exterior entrance doors don’t close or latch properly unless slammed, letting random, unauthorized people into the building at night. The garage entrance door to Floor 1 has had an "under repair" sign on it for over two years. When a bike was recently stolen straight out of the secured bike room, management refused to help with camera footage or assist with the police report. Unusable amenities: You pay for amenities you can't use. The AC in the gym and yoga room hasn't worked in over two years, equipment like the workout bench was removed, the pool is dirty with a "Do Not Swim" sign, the poolside grills haven't worked in years, and the game room pool cues are completely broken. Parking: People constantly take paid, reserved spots because management hasn’t issued updated parking permits, leaving paying residents with nowhere to park. For what they charge in rent, basic upkeep, working elevators, tenant safety, and managers who actually return calls should be the bare minimum. Would not recommend living here.

At the beginning of the year, maintenance came multiple times (about four) to fix the dishwasher. Each time, they said it was fixed, but it still didn’t work properly—the pod wouldn’t dissolve or it wouldn’t run correctly. I ended up handwashing my dishes all year because I couldn’t rely on it. Around March/April, my laundry room and bedroom started leaking. Maintenance fixed it quickly and did a good job, but they left paint chips and ceiling debris all over my floor. Since I wasn’t home when they came, the debris got stuck in my carpet and bathroom floor. I cleaned as much as I could, but some of it remained. Because of construction on Northgate, noise was a constant issue. Even at 3 a.m., I could hear sirens and intercom announcements clearly due to the thin walls. Security was a major concern. There was never a time when all four gates worked—usually one or two were broken. The gates could also open without the required sticker, seemingly just by motion. The parking garage is extremely tight, barely fitting two cars at once. There are two entrance doors, and the one on the visitor side was unlocked for most of the year. Even after being "fixed," it was still easy to get in. Late at night, I would come back and see non-residents entering the building, including a homeless man who would come inside and use the restroom. While I personally wasn't afraid, it's unsafe that anyone can walk into the building. The elevators were also an issue. There are only two, and most of the year only one worked. Wait times were often around five minutes, so I usually took the stairs. The amenities are very limited and not well maintained. The gym is small and overcrowded, with minimal equipment. The pool is tiny and often dirty, along with the surrounding furniture. The grills never worked, none of the fire pits worked, and there's even a mini golf area with no clubs provided. The biggest issue was move-out. I went to move out on July 11th (my only available day due to work and travel), but the office never opened—even by 1 p.m.—and people were waiting outside. It had also been closed the day before with no notice: no email, no sign, nothing. I tried calling, including their sister properties, but no one answered. I couldn't leave my key with my roommate because I wouldn't have been able to lock my apartment, and there's a $100 fee if your key isn't returned by July 20th. I later found out they were closed every weekend in July, which was never communicated. Since they don't even have a drop box for keys, I had to overnight my key, which cost me 25$, just to make sure it arrived on time and I wouldn't be charged the $100 fee. Even then, delivery was delayed because the office was closed. The whole process was unnecessarily stressful and showed a complete lack of communication and consideration for residents. There were also dozens of packages left sitting outside the office unattended, making them incredibly easy to steal. To top it off, I was charged $10 for a damaged ceiling fan, even though I never physically touched it during the entire school year, let alone caused any damage. Since I didn't think to take photos before moving in, I have no way to dispute the charge, which is incredibly frustrating. I was also charged $20 because my bathtub supposedly wasn't clean enough, even though I had thoroughly cleaned it before leaving. These charges felt completely unreasonable and like an easy way to add extra fees after move-out. Overall, the lack of communication, unreliable maintenance, poor security, underwhelming amenities, and unreasonable move-out process make this place nowhere near worth the price. There are much better apartments on Northgate for the same or a better price with better management, better amenities, and staff who actually communicate with their residents.

we have had a lot of trouble with this apartment. Not only was the roommate pairing completely different than my specified preferences, we moved in after not finding a solution with a broken dryer and multiple other things wrong. While i understand it's completely normal to have situations like this upon first moving in, we have now been here over 12 days, pushing THREE WEEKS, and still don't have a working dryer with no solution upon other troubles with the dirty pool, parking issues, and other broken things in our apartment (even after being promised the model for the time being and that dryer not working either). This is completely unacceptable and shows how unorganized this complex/company really is. I have tried to stay off of reviews and tried to give them multiple opportunities to fix it but i simply just can't anymore chances are i will not be renewing my lease come next year.

I lived at the Hudson this past 25-26 year. My roommate and neighbor both experienced towing, when they paid parking at the Hudson and provided their license plate number. My roommate was towed because his tag fell and my neighbor's car was towed because her handicap sign also fell. They both had to pay that 300 dollar fine by the towing company and not to mention the stress of that day. I am writting this one star because the experience for those I care about was not treated rightfully. Yes the tag and the handicap sign fell, BUT the car was already in the system. I bet if this happened to my roommate and neighbor it probably happened to others too. The Hudson, you have to have another system, because they did pay the "parking fee" to park at the Hudson and still got towed. The Hudson still had the "license plate" but did ever think about that as a better means of verifiying parked cars as well.

Yiiiiiiiikes this place has went downhill!!!! I never had any complaints in years before but now the pool is green (and now closed), courtyards are unkept, grills don’t work, the parking garage gates have been broken since last semester, only one elevator works, and some people haven’t even had air conditioning since they moved in!!! And their “fix” is throwing a window unit in? I would steer clear of this place. Seriously. They need to get it together. **edited to add that now BOTH elevators are not working. If you are handicap or live on the 8th floor, I guess you’re screwed. Pretty sure this is illegal.
