The main positives are the location and a few of the amenities. It's close to campus and Century Square, there's a bus stop right outside, and the study areas are nice and well kept. Unfortunately, my overall experience was disappointing. The property wasn't well maintained. The hallways were often dirty and I regularly saw bugs when I walked through them. I also had to deal with roaches in my apartment during my lease. The trash service was unreliable, yet residents are required to pay for valet trash whether they want it or not. Some maintenance requests took much longer than they should have to be addressed, and when I moved in, about half of the outlets in my kitchen didn't work. The gym was another letdown, as equipment was frequently out of order. There were also recurring elevator problems and frequent fire alarm issues that became frustrating over time. The move-out process was probably the most disappointing. I was charged cleaning fees that I believe were unnecessary, and despite sending multiple emails to dispute them, many of those emails went unanswered. It was extremely difficult to get timely responses or resolve concerns. Considering the rent and additional mandatory fees, the quality of the property and management did not match the price. I expected a much better-maintained apartment and more responsive management for what I was paying. Overall, while the location and study spaces are definite advantages, the maintenance issues, cleanliness, communication, and overall value for the cost make it difficult for me to recommend living here.

Do not move to this apartment. I have emailed them multiple times about my move out statement dispute, and have gotten no replies. I provided my move in inspections with photos of damages inside my apartment, and was charged hundreds of dollars for damages I had included in my move in inspection. They will find anything to be able to charge you. The place is filthy and the hallways smell of trash. There was throw up in front of my elevator for days, and the elevator itself didn’t work half the time. The place is dusty and worn down, with maintenance people present for most of the day causing loud noises. The gym was closed for most of the time for maintenance. The parking garage had retail parking for the first 3 floors, which didn’t make sense since there were relatively no businesses open throughout the year. The towing situation is insane as well. The only redeeming quality was the clubhouse, but half the time the fire alarm would go off and would stay ringing for days. The management is horrible and not helpful at all, maintenance men would walk into my apartment even when I didn’t put in maintenance requests, and would leave my apartment dirty. They said that they would start letting us know when maintenance would come in, but my roommate and I never got a notice beforehand. You pay almost $1000 a month just for a dirty and damaged apartment and unhelpful management. Update: they have yet to respond back to my emails and have only responded to my roommate.

I've noticed a lot of improvements around the property recently, and it's been nice to see. The buildings and common areas look much cleaner, and the freshly painted hallways really brighten everything up. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, and it's clear they're putting effort into keeping the community looking nice.

Terrible place to live. The delivery system is awful—I regularly had to wait days after packages arrived before I could pick them up. Wi-Fi constantly goes out, and management thought it was acceptable to test fire alarms from 7 AM to 12 PM, one time went for 4 hours straight. Maintenance has been just as bad. Our washing machine flooded the apartment, they left loud fans running for days, and refused to offer any compensation. The roof also flooded multiple times. The management is short sighted, as they frequently screw the tenant for a quick buck (charging for guest parking, with a service fee). Management, if you are reading this realize the quick buck you earn on current customers is a gamble long term financially. Of all people I know who have lived at NPC, few have recommended it as a place to stay. I suppose you can get by housing unsuspecting freshmen…

Wish I could give it Zero Stars. Northpoint Crossing is honestly a scam in my opinion. When they give you the tour, they show you Building 1, which is the nicest and cleanest building there. They make it seem like every building looks exactly like that, but once I actually moved in, I realized how bad the rest of the complex really is. My apartment looked completely different from what they showed us during the tour. The hallways constantly smelled like trash everywhere you went, the parking garage was always full, and the elevators were constantly not working. The water pressure in the showers was terrible and the pipes would randomly make loud noises all the time. On top of that, the hallways looked unfinished and badly painted, which honestly made the place feel depressing in my opinion. Another thing they heavily advertised during the tour was all the shops and businesses in the plaza area. Once we moved in, most of them were closed. In my opinion, they sold a very misleading image of what living there would actually be like. The gym was even closed for around two weeks because of a leak. For how expensive this place is, the maintenance and overall experience were disappointing in my opinion. The only real positives were the bus stop convenience for getting to campus and that the WiFi worked decently sometimes. Other than that, I would not recommend living here at all.
