I would not recommend living here. My experience was frustrating from beginning to end. Maintenance was one of the biggest issues. I submitted multiple maintenance requests for the exact same problem, and they would repeatedly mark them as "completed" without actually fixing anything. I had to keep putting in requests because the issue was never resolved. When it came time to move out, they added random damage charges that were not properly explained. On top of that, the utility bills made no sense. I rarely ever had my AC on and was careful with my usage all year, yet my utility fees were still extremely high with all kinds of random charges. My two sisters and I lived together, and somehow all three of our utility bills were different even though we shared the same apartment. When we questioned the office about it, they gave us explanations that made no sense instead of actually looking into the issue. Until near the end of our lease they realized they were putting two utility bill payment on one of my sister’s rent making it higher. The office staff were also incredibly rude and unhelpful. Anytime we asked questions or needed assistance, they acted like we were inconveniencing them and often responded with an attitude instead of trying to help. There were constant issues throughout our lease, including unreliable Wi-Fi and ongoing water related problems around the property. Overall, this apartment is trash no wonder it has all bad reviews. Not to mention how dirty the apartment is. When I first moved in the windows were black and moldy. I would much rather pay an extra $100 or more each month to live somewhere that is actually maintained, has better management, and treats their residents with respect.

I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. The maintenance and overall management have been extremely disappointing from day one. One of my first major issues happened when I was locked out of my apartment, not because I misplaced my key, but because the key the complex provided simply did not work. When I called the lockout extension to explain the situation, the staff member was incredibly rude to both my mom and I as well as dismissive. Instead of listening, he kept repeating the lockout charge over and over, completely ignoring the fact that the problem was caused by their faulty key, not by any mistake on my part. On top of that, there have been ongoing pest issues including cockroaches, ants, and what may even be termites. We’ve been told pest control has come out multiple times, but the problem clearly hasn’t been resolved. The maintenance issues don’t stop there. Our washer is broken and will not stop running unless we physically unplug it. Maintenance has “fixed” it more than once by simply running a quick wash cycle, which does nothing except waste our water and leave the problem unresolved. The final straw was when our toilet wouldn’t stop running. We called the emergency maintenance line, only to be told to wait until Monday. When I asked if we were seriously expected to manually manage our toilet all weekend, the response we got was to just use our roommate’s bathroom instead. That level of disregard for tenants is unacceptable. Overall, this complex has shown poor maintenance, lack of accountability, and extremely unprofessional customer service Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere.

I’ve had a very frustrating experience at this student housing complex. Maintenance repeatedly marks requests as “completed” when no one has actually come to our apartment, we’ve been home and can confirm no one showed up. As a household of all females, this is especially concerning. We also had a serious issue with an overflowing toilet and were told by emergency maintenance to wait two days, which completely defeats the purpose of having an emergency line. The lockout service is another problem. The person who answers the phone has been consistently rude and dismissive, especially toward young female residents. On top of that, the WiFi has ongoing issues that haven’t been resolved. When we ask for help, we’re told to go in person to the provider, even though it’s included in our rent. That shouldn’t be our responsibility. Overall, there’s a lack of urgency, accountability, and respect for residents. I would not recommend living here unless these issues are addressed.

Crossing Place is a great and quiet apartment complex. Being located on a bus route is extremely helpful for getting to and from class. The new property manager, Lauren, is so kind and willing to work with you and meet you where you're at.

Been seeing a lot of fake positive reviews on this trash property/management company. Expect random towing, random utility fees from god knows when and no customer support. Moving out has been a complete nightmare. Brought over a professional cleaner to help me clean this place up, spent over 10 hours wiping every nook and cranny. Still being charged an arm and a leg for absolutely nothing. With no discounts on my initial deposit. There is a special place in hell for these heartless people. Surprised this place hasn’t been sued yet!
