The apartment is actually really nice and big but amenities are very bad in the building, you can definitely find a better place in college station for the price with a better gym and pool. AC is constantly broken in the gym and the gym is really small. Hallways and garage are always so dirty which I don’t even mind, garage floor is always covered in leaves and your car somehow gets covered in white powder that falls from the roof of the garage. AC in my apartment always breaks but maintenance is fairly fast. The Elevator is always either broken or shakes as if you’re experiencing turbulence on an airplane. The garage gate is also always broken. Worst Part about this place is trying to renew they always try and increase the rent for current resident who have been there for years while giving leases to new residents at cheaper pricing, Lived here for 3 years and every year the increase the rent even though they have been decreasing the rent for new resident because no one is signing here, there’s much better options in the area for the price. All the negatives that comes with the building i’d still like to live here because the apartment itself is actually nice but they just make it so hard to renew because they want to just keep increasing the price. Constantly increasing the price but the building keeps becoming worse.

Lived here for three years. Between the constant ongoing construction right behind the building, students revving their engines down College Main at 2am, and the maintenance crew failing to fix my A/C for 2.5 years, I would not recommend living here. Still salty about the A/C issue. My electric bill got cut in half the month after they finally fixed it, and when they temporarily installed a portable unit while they finally properly fixed my A/C this past December, they neglected to properly ventilate the unit. So my apartment got up to 85+ degrees, IN DECEMBER. They replaced their emergency maintenance phone line with an AI assistant that drops your call if you actually ask it to do anything this past year, too. Absolute terrible customer service. Had a recurrent ceiling leak above my shower as well that persisted throughout the first year of my time living here. Despite multiple maintenance requests nothing was done until the ceiling actually collapsed in my bathroom. Only took ONE DAY to fix! So it seems it could have all been avoided easily had the problem been addressed sooner. Not to mention the entire time I have lived in the 404 building, the front entrance to the lobby has not properly locked. If the building being secure is at all important to you, I wouldn't recommend living here. Also, the entry gate to the main garage is always broken, and recently it dinged the top of my truck when the arm of the entry gate came down to early. Still salty about that one, too. Also in the rare moments the locks or entry gate work, the ProData Key app they have tenants use to access the buildings is super inconvenient. If your phone service drops while you are entering the garage or your phone dies, then you just can't get in. Either that or you end up fumbling with your phone while you are driving up. All in all this place is a hot mess. Glad I have raised my standards. I am getting the hell out of here.

I lived in a 1x1 unit last year and I liked it enough to renew for this coming year. The unit was pretty clean with no major issues. It's in a pretty nice location as well. I didn't give five stars because the ammenities (gym and study room) are not good but I can live without those and for the price I can't really ask for too much more.

Take this as a warning to you, i have been living here the past 3 years, somehow they have managed to make every year worse then the last, where do i start, first the management of cherry street apartments is horrible they absolutely don’t care about their residents, the front desk staff are uncooperative and have never solved a issue, the simplest action of placing my mail in the mailbox is unfathomable to them, they have lost multiple government documents that were ment to reach me and have caused serious issues. The management staff does not care about its residents and attempts to raise rent for you every application cycle which really shows the lack of respect for their residents. Now lets talk about the building, ill give it to them, the actual bedroom is large seems to be the only plus about Cherry Street, the AC in the rooms seem to break about every other month, the pool is always dirty, the building is filled with spiders and is generally dirty, you cant park your car in the garage for 5 minutes without it getting all dirty, the elevator ohhh the elevator, it breaks every month, and we are currently on a 20 day “broken elevator” streak, please fix it, additionally the elevator shakes like there is a earthquake every time you enter it, this building is very old and has many problems that cherry street cannot keep up with. One thing i will give them credit for is their great maintenance team, specially Cap, great dude, this place has caused a headache for me and my friends and every time we try commenting on a instagram post they delete the comments. The probability of my renewal is rare especially if they try to charge me a exorbitant amount for rent next year. If you have read this far and this place still appeals to you go ahead but don’t say i didn’t warn you about these problems. (To the management team, if you decide to reply please write a thoughtful reply instead of the AI slop that you reply to other comments)

DO NOT SIGN A LEASE HERE! Okay there’s a lot to break down here. First off AC, when we first moved in our apartment read 85°. In the middle of August, yeah so our apartment was bad unlivable. They brought in an AC unit and left our main AC on (which shot up our electric bill) and told us it’s because we are in the top floor and it’s the middle of summer. That is such BS because i’m in a new apartment now on the top floor in the middle of August and guess what!! The AC works perfect. So they came in days later and “fixed” our main AC. Well our entire year lease we had AC problems, and I don’t know about you but there’s one thing that has to work in my living space in Texas. my AC. It also began leaking halfway through the lease and ruined wood and my towels. They had to have brought in that little AC unit at least 3 or 4 times. They were so cheap they never wanted to actually fully fix the problem for us. Also because of these continuous AC problems our electricity bill was always so high, so WE were the ones paying for their laziness. Then there was the whole moving out situation. When we moved out we vacuumed, cleaned, and got everything out of our apartment. They charged us $260 in cleaning fees! So it was my boyfriend and I both living in a one bedroom. They were trying to charge us EACH a fee for each thing. So like if there was something a little dirty they were trying to charge us each the fee separately even though it’s a one bedroom. (And this was not mentioned anywhere in the lease). They look photos of the “messes” that they had to clean. I kid you not they took photos of a tiny little coffee spill we had missed and charged us $60. It could literally be wiped up with one paper towel…. They also took photos of the floor and you could literally see my vacuum lines!!!😭 like… basically proving I cleaned but charged me like $50 for that spot. Basically every photo that showed a mess had NOTHING in the photo. You can summit a dispute form. BTW this does absolutely nothing it just to make you feel better. After a couple weeks if you don’t pay your cleaning fee it goes to collections, and then good luck disputing it there. Our cleaning fee never went down or away (so they basically ignored our dispute form which was probably the plan all along so it will just go to collections). We sent 3 emails, multiple phone calls, and went into the office like 5 times and it’s always just the receptionist up there (and she’s great btw!) it’s the manager who NEVER wants to respond to emails or calls EVER!!!! They want to just ignore us and think we will move on. Turns out I am not the only one dealing with this, we went up today and there’s was a line of people with complaints, some just moved out and are complaining just like us, another was a woman who came to break her sons lease and is about to get lawyers involved because her sons apartment has been above 85° for a week straight now!!! There’s so much more I can warn you about. Bottom line DO NOT LIVE HERE PLEASE!!!

Unless your income is greater than 3 times the rental installment or can qualify through our Leap Program, you will need a guarantor. A guarantor must meet the income requirements and credit qualifications. The guarantor is financially responsible and liable for the terms of the lease and rental installments.
Your monthly rental installment includes your furniture. Any other fees such as parking, insurance, utilities, etc. will be billed to your account separately.
With an individual lease, also called by the bedroom lease, you are responsible for your own monthly rent and the regular upkeep of your part of the apartment. Unlike conventional joint leases, you are not responsible for any delinquent amounts owed by your roommates. This means if a roommate moves out early or misses a payment, all other residents are not responsible for making up the difference.
