The District at Clemson, clemson-sc

Would not recommend. You are paying a premium price for a subpar place. Go live closer to downtown at the nicer apartments for the same price. House was disgusting when we first moved in and then if you don’t hire a professional cleaning crew at the end of your lease they will fine you for the house being dirty. A/C constantly went out during the summer and they will tag on as many fees as possible to make their money.

My daughter has lived with the District for two years now. We have experienced consistent problems. My first review is going to be on the list of broken appliances. Let’s start with the fridge... it leaks water, constantly it spreading throughout the kitchen. This has apparently been “fixed” however there are always lovely puddles of water possibly causing mold. Next onto the air conditioning.... there have been several maintenance requests put in about the air unit for both the heat and AC not working ...each time it is “fixed”. However, she had our own AC man come evaluate and he discovered that the unit needed complete replacement and was shocked at the state of it. All of the included appliances have been there since they built the district ten plus years ago...and let’s just say they are not the quality to last that long. Lastly, the ladies in the office are quite rude. They do not seem to like interacting or helping the young ladies that pay to live there. Overall, I would not recommend at all.

Do NOT recommend! The place was so dirty (even though it had been “cleaned”. See pics below). Dishwasher rack had no wheels so had to be picked up to move, refrigerator leaks water on floor, dryer takes 3-4 cycles to dry, handle on dryer keeps falling off, blinds broken and missing the poles to open, hot water is cold and cold water is hot and there’s a very loud running train right next to the complex. There are sooo many places to live in Clemson. Highly recommend going elsewhere

The Estate was my absolute FAVORITE place that I lived in Clemson! Rachel and Faith were always super helpful and great to work with whenever I had questions about anything. And Brian was always kind and respectful whenever we had maintenance issues (which was rare)!

Ran into them outside of summer moon!! Great experience they were so nice and awesome!!
