I've lived here for two full years now and have had a great experience. My roommates and I have really been able to make our house feel like home, and having our own unit gives us a lot of freedom. Maintenance is always quick and does a great job. The bus is on a regular schedule and it's fun to run into friends who also live here while riding it to campus. Overall, have made great memories while living here!

I’ve lived here for almost 3 years and each year I have truly enjoyed having my own place to live. The amenities are always tidy and well taken care of. The shuttle to and from campus have always been the best experience.

Great move in experience! Staff was so helpful. Lizzie, Tay and crew were so helpful for us. Maintenance request that was filed related to air conditioning and window locks addressed right away.

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!!! My last couple months of living here have been an absolute nightmare. My roommates and I are all graduating and moving out this summer. We received an email on a Monday night that we had to move out all of our belongings in our kitchen and bathrooms by the following Monday morning at 8am because they had contractors coming in to renovate the common areas and our bathrooms. We did not request these renovations (they are for the future tenants so they can charge more expensive rent), and were completely caught off guard by this email. They stated that Monday-Friday the week of the renovations, contractors would be in our home from 9am-6pm each day, we would not have access to the common area spaces OR our own bathrooms, forcing us out of our home with no compensation or remorse. After trying to contact management about delaying the renovations until we move out in a month and a half, we were immediately dismissed both times we tried. They are taking no responsibility about forcing us out of our home for a week and leaving the property unsecured (the front door was unlocked and/or wide open the entire time they were working- I walked in once and there was no verification that I was a resident of the home). Attached to this review are pictures of what our home looked like throughout the renovations when we went home at night. There is also a picture taken after the "cleaning" they promised would happen after the renovations was "completed". There was still dust and debris everywhere. This is just one of the many horror stories about living at the Collective. Many other residents have had similar frustrations and experiences.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This company has shown repeated negligence and disregard for tenant safety. I’ve dealt with over a year of roach infestations, despite multiple treatments from their pest vendor and constant communication with management. There were also several unannounced entries where “staff and vendors” used a key to simply walk into our apartment without knocking. These events were captured on camera and no explanation or access records were ever provided. Even after signing a new lease (before the infestation worsened severely) with the promise of a pest-free unit, the problem persisted. An independent pest inspector that we hired and paid personally, later confirmed heavy infestation and maintenance issues that management ignored. I also required medical treatment for insect bites. Management continually dismissed my concerns, refused to release me from the lease, and failed to take basic corrective action. This property is unsafe and poorly managed. Renters deserve far better.
