Do not rent here. This was one of the worst rental experiences we’ve ever had. From the day we moved in, the apartment was filthy and clearly had not been properly cleaned or inspected. We found spiders, spider webs, and even dead cockroaches throughout the unit. On top of that, basic things in the apartment didn’t work properly, including issues with the water and doors. It was shocking that management considered the apartment move-in ready. Whenever we reported problems, getting a response was a challenge. Management was difficult to reach, slow to respond, and took forever to address maintenance issues—if they addressed them at all. We paid rent every month, yet it felt like our concerns were ignored. Tenants should not have to constantly chase management just to get basic repairs completed. The condition of the property and the lack of communication showed a complete disregard for residents. Instead of fixing problems promptly, management seemed content letting tenants live with them. To make matters worse, after we moved out, they kept a large portion of our security deposit for cleaning and repairs. It’s outrageous considering the apartment was already dirty, poorly maintained, and full of issues when we moved in. Apparently, they’re happy to hand tenants a filthy apartment but have no problem charging them when they leave. Take photos and videos of everything if you decide to rent here, because you may need proof of the apartment’s condition. Between the pests, maintenance problems, unresponsive management, and security deposit issues, this place was a nightmare. We would never rent here again and would strongly discourage anyone else from doing so.

Representative Sabrina at Entwood Property in Chico has always been very sufficient in providing the help I need in understanding lease regarding information. She responds with honest and great communication that never fails to impress me. I take pride in having her guide me in any of my slightest concerns to the bigger ones. She is amazing at what she does!!

We love the place we are about to move into! As my wife and I were searching around for apartments we we're getting a bit discouraged because nothing was checking all the boxes we were looking for. I wanted to schedule a tour at the Sycamore Creek Apartments and was worried that it would be difficult with my work schedule being M-F 7:00am-3:30pm. I texted the property manager Amanda and she was very flexible and helped schedule a time despite my busy schedule. My wife and I went to the tour without any expectations and thought it was so much better than the pictures online. It checked all the boxes of what we were looking for. Amanda was very relational and helpful in answering questions. Even after the tour as we had questions, about utilities or the lease, we never felt like a bother reaching out to Amanda she was always happy to help and answer all the questions we had. My wife and I are excited to move in!

Amanda is an incredibly helpful property manager. She was super responsive and went out of her way to assist me during the viewing and application processes. I am looking forward to having her as my PM!

Entwood has been wonderful to work with. They are very responsive to messages, work orders/tasks and overall so helpful. Also huge kudos to Sabrina she’s worked with us from day one and is AMAZING!
