I am attending DePaul Law School this fall, and Student Space was recommended to me by the university to secure housing. I don't live in Chicago and wasn't going to be able to afford to fly there to look at places, so Tyler was super helpful just giving us an idea of what the market looks like and what we could expect. We ended up going with a different property management company than the ones he had recommended to us, mostly because we ended up coming with a roommate and just weren't able to find two bedroom availability with the companies he suggested. Regardless, I would absolutely go to Student Space again if I ever need help finding an apartment, and I will recommend them to anyone I know going to school in Chicago, especially people who are relocating from out of state.

As a graduate student moving to Chicago this fall, I contacted Tyler at Student Space a few months ago. Student Space basically has a set of landlords that they draw from, which offers a lot of selection and options. It's a free service supported by fees that the landlords pay to Student Space for placing them with tenants. Communication with Tyler was responsive and quick, and the experience in general was great. In actuality, I'm also leaving this review because I didn't actually end up using Student Space to find my eventual apartment; I ended up going with a smaller landlord after getting in contact with a few others that Tyler recommended. So what Tyler gave me ended up being free advising—even so, he was courteous, professional, and understanding throughout, and I'd highly recommend this service to any students moving to Chicago in the near future.

StudentSpace was absolutely amazing in helping my husband and I find our new apartment in Chicago. We planned to move to the city in April so by husband could attend the University of Chicago Law School in the fall. Needless to say, moving from California to Chicago was a change that I was definitely nervous about. We contacted StudentSpace and they immediately put us into contact with Sean. Sean was incredible and one of the kindest people I have ever met. He picked my husband and I up from our hotel in Chicago when we came to visit and took us to the properties. I would HIGHLY recommend this service to graduate students looking for apartments in a new city. It can be a stressful process and I am so grateful for companies like these. :)
