Lived here for 8 months and couldn’t stand it anymore. I saw several cockroaches everyday, the laundry room was constantly flooding with sewage, and the management was completely unresponsive. It’s probably nicer to live in a tent under a bridge than to rent from this place. If you could leave prison, it’d probably be nicer to live in a jail cell than here.

Do not rent here. Unless you are at risk of homelessness during the winter months, I would not recommend residing at this property. During my tenancy, I experienced repeated plumbing issues in which toilets ran continuously and leaked, resulting in water flooding the hallways. On one occasion, maintenance was contacted but did not respond. After an earlier incident, two individuals arrived, briefly dried the carpets using equipment resembling a leaf blower, and then departed without further remediation. The building frequently smells of smoke, and I did not observe any functioning fire alarms. Trash collection is inconsistent, and insects have been present in the refrigerator located in the common areas. Sleep is often disrupted due to persistent noise, including frequent yelling both inside and outside the building. Additionally, another tenant recently reported a robbery involving a sudden snatching, which was investigated by the Chicago Police Department. The building is currently under investigation by the Chicago Building Department for multiple code and health violations.

The building is infested and all they do is spray the rooms every now and then. There is no Amazon Hub. The gym is old and broken down. The laundry room frequently smells, floods, and is actively dirty. A homeless man walked in and STOLE my laundry bag.

| ROACHES | NOW LEASING — FOR A HOPELESSLY DISGUSTING ROACH INFESTED BUILDING AND UNIT. The first night I slept here, I found a roach in my bed RIGHT NEXT TO MY FACE. It was traumatizing. It happened many times after. The infestation spread everywhere: my bed, fridge, microwave, bathroom. After one treatment, I found over 40 dead roaches under the mini fridge alone. They keep patching cracks with caulk, but the building is falling apart and new cracks appear constantly. At this point, the roaches live inside the walls. The entire complex appears infested. Under NO circumstances — unless you are on the verge of homelessness (and honestly it might still be better sleeping on a CTA train) — move here. | PROPERTY MANAGER | Patrick, the property manager, eventually stopped seriously trying to resolve the infestation and started giving attitude whenever multiple maintenance requests were submitted. Try calling the office. Most of the time nobody answers. Extremely unprofessional. The hallways smell like old carpet, weed, and stale air. Tenants spill food everywhere. Dead roaches are stuck to walls and piled into glue traps throughout the building. Eventually the glue traps stop looking like pest control and start looking like decoration. I attempted to transfer units to escape the infestation. Patrick told me the new unit would be around $725. Instead, I was moved into a SMALLER unit for $816 — and it was STILL INFESTED. Communication is slow. Problems drag on. Information changes constantly. At some point they stopped attempting to solve the issue because the roaches inhabit the walls themselves. | GYM | The gym equipment is old and falling apart. The treadmills do not work. | AMAZON HUB | What Amazon Hub? WHERE?It is shut down. Packages are locked inside the office, except the office has inconsistent hours and is frequently closed. If you work normal hours — especially early or late shifts — good luck getting your packages. I went WEEKS without access to items I paid for. Meanwhile, they STILL advertise secure package access and a mailroom online. | FINAL THOUGHTS | The rooms smelled like aged carpet when I moved in. Units were dirty. Toilets flooded. Sink water dried brown at times.They smile in your face while the building deteriorates around you. Please preserve your sanity and look elsewhere. This building is corrosive, neglected, and completely overwhelmed with a repulsive roach infestation. It honestly needs to be torn down. NEVER AGAIN.

Half of the amenities are gone so I dont know why the site still says" Amazon hub, keyless entry, the internet comes and goes, the computers dont work anymore, there is no printing station anymore, they took the pool table equipment away and everything else and theres no seating area anymore where the couches use to be" .The place has gone down really bad. No one in the building is upkeeping the place. Theres roaches everywhere, didnt have heat for 2 weeks , lights went in and out, the hot water was off for 1 week and the trash would be overfull. We would get emails before saying the reason why the power would go out is because everybody was using the space heater at the same time and that we have to work together to stop the lights from going out. That doesnt even make sense because the building should be able to hold the power of all the outlets if plugged in. How would tenants know when to plug in and to not plug in?? Alot of the lease have been broken on the landlords end and the landlord doesnt even care. The building needs to be shutdown because everything is falling apart, whether its the ceiling and etc. No compensation or rent lowered for putting the tenants thru all this whether its intentional or not. The place just looks horrible. The 5 star reviews are either not real or people who toured and even if you toured, theres no way you'd miss thay the in-person tour doesnt match whats online because the tenants who live here will say other wise.
