Any cons they have are greatly outweighed by the pros. The cons are hearing the train (which you will anywhere in Cheney), dated furniture with general wear and tear, and the showers not having a detachable wand. The pros are just about everything else. Price and location cannot be even close to beat. Private bedrooms with your own full size bathroom and walk-in closet is great space. The shared living area is spacious and never feels crowded. It comes pre-furnished, your room has a bed frame, mattress, desk, chair (uncomfy but oh well), dresser, and end table. The amenities such as the club house, pool, gym, and tanning beds are a great feature. The staff are all great, maintenance is very fast and efficient. The snow care team is incredibly well prepared. They also host fun events on occasion, such as movie nights, paint-a-pumpkin, or thirsty thursdays.

I’ve had a great experience living at The Grove at Cheney Apartments. The staff is always helpful, friendly, and quick to respond whenever I need anything. The community feels clean and safe, and maintenance requests are handled fast. The units are spacious, the location is perfect for students and young adults, and the amenities make daily life really convenient. I appreciate how the management communicates clearly and keeps everything organized. Overall, it’s been a smooth, positive living experience, and I definitely recommend The Grove to anyone looking for reliable and comfortable housing in Cheney.

Ever since the management has come in, they've neglected work orders, kept ignoring people when they're wifi isnt working, and even after showing them my renewal like they asked me to, they still sent me an eviction letter, even though they said I was fine to stay since I showed them my contract with the previous owners. I will be seeking legal action against them if my housing is interrupted. They as the new owners have to honor all previous contracts made by the previous management company. It doesnt matter if they dont have it, their clerical error should not be my issue. Fix your business, super unprofessional. I will not be sticking around at the end of the end of my 2026- 2027 lease, and will not be leaving in 30 days. Get bent.

Nice apartments with plenty of parking spots and easy access.

It’s been a mostly enjoyable experience! Maintenance has been quick in my experience. It looses a star bc it definitely could have been cleaned more prior to my move-in but it wasn’t unlivable. Good for a college kid on a budget! :)
