can get way better apartments for way cheaper. everything is broken and never gets fixed. the management doesn’t care.

My son lived at the edge for 2 years and actually had a pretty good experience until it was time to move out. We were charged crazy amounts of money for toilets and bathtubs that were stained before we moved in, problems in the common area a desk that was scratched. We tried to dispute $400 worth of damages that were there before he moved in. I recommend taking pictures of EVERYTHING before you move in and when you move out. The management company also towed his vehicle when he moved the tag to the rear view mirror as he was told. Security didn't see it and had it towed. They did work with us and we only had to pay half of the $300 to get it back but that mistake was on them and they should've paid the entire amount. So actually they owe us $150. I think they totally take advantage of college kids many who have to pay their way through college. Disgraceful!!!

They took away our basketball court because they kept letting people who didn't live in the complex just come in and go whenever they pleased and they had a shooting and hit an apartment building would give 0 stars but unfortunately cannot. Also rent for this place is wayyyy to high for it to be in the condition that it is.

If internet is important I can't recommend the Edge, for the last month and a half my internet hasn't worked for over 3 weeks, and has been inconsistent outside of that. I couldn't do my finals in my apartment because the internet was out and it hasn't worked since the new year. If you have online finals, homework that you do online or use your internet frequently for any other reason you should look elsewhere it's too inconsistent to be relied on.

I have lived at The Edge for two years and have loved every single minute of it. The property is clean and beautifully maintained, and the maintenance team is quick, and responsive. The only issue I had was a slight HVAC Issue which was resolved within the week of my issue. Safety has always been a huge priority for me, and I’ve felt completely comfortable calling this home. The location is unbeatable and perfect for South Charlotte living. Everything you need is walkable, parking is a breeze, and it makes daily life so convenient. The neighbors are friendly, the community is welcoming, and the staff goes above and beyond. They’re so outstanding that my dog insists on stopping into the front office most afternoons just to see his favorite people! If you’re looking for a safe, clean, well-managed place in a prime location, The Edge is absolutely the place to be. I couldn’t recommend it more!
