I have lived here for a school year and it has been a nightmare staying here. Upon moving in, the apartment was one of the most disgusting things I have stepped foot into. There were roaches, dirt, dog hair, and gunk on almost every surface and appliance. I had put in multiple maintenance requests in and they would rarely show up and they might fix something. Calling the office is impossible and trying to get a hold of someone to speak with is a rarity. Even going in in-person gives you a low shot of being able to speak with the managers. Scheduling appointments don’t work that much as I’ve had appointments scheduled then been rescheduled or just completely forgotten about. Though a roommate of mine conducted multiple lease breaking agreements, it still took months on months to have him evicted. I would recommend choosing a different apartment complex. Make sure to look at the “quality” unit they give you if you do go here.

I’ve lived here for two years now. I genuinely think it’s not a bad place to live. It’s really a you get what you pay for kind of vibe, however somethings could be improved. Maintenance is nice and usually responds quickly, but whether or not the issue actually gets fixed depends on the situation. We have put in almost 7+ requests to have our dryer fixed so we can dry our clothes and the dryer still does not work and they are unwilling to replace it no matter how many requests we put in to get a new one. I shouldn’t have to leave my apartment in order to get my laundry done when there is a washer and dryer in the home. Not to mention we have to share it with 3 other people and it takes 3 cycles to dry.

After living here from August 2025-Present day- don’t live here. The car breakins, stolen cars, pieces stolen OFF of cars, (i had my front grill stolen and noticed multiple other cars started having the same issue..) roaches… and blatant lack of professionalism from the front office just cannot justify the price of rent. You’d be better off sleeping in a hotel or literally any other complex but this one. My issue isn’t even just with the things I listed. The mailing service here is absolutely terrible. I’ve had my passport, drivers license and social security card stolen, multiple packages go missing or never be delivered, and the front office is no help. One woman up front is extremely rude and refuses to speak most of the time. And there’s no one to receive packages on weekends or any time after 6 so good luck. Aside from that, your appliances will break, check ins are never done on time, and the shuttles are inaccurate as well. Stay at home or with a friend just don’t stay here.

I have been living here since past 2 and half year and maintenance guys are pretty chill and they do fix things on time. However leasing office and new parking scheme is awful. I mean you can’t even find a parking space and when people starts parking on the side they tow your car and that towing company is just awful. For parking i never had to worry about so much anywhere but this is nightmare. And when i went to the office to talk about this they say call towing company and wait till they tow out those cars which do not have decals. Even they started guest parking fees it was free before.

This is by far the worst place to live. Do not live here. You can expect trash on the pavement and in hallways throughout the property, left by residents. The property constantly smells of weed, both inside and outside the units, despite a no-smoking policy. The pedestrian gates are completely inoperable, and the vehicle gates have broken down four times, each for roughly 2–3 weeks, leaving security lacking. Guest parking is also charged: $2 per hour (up to five hours) or $12 for the day. This was not previously the case, and the change is unreasonable. Packages are delivered to a small communal room where many residents never pick theirs up. Locating a package can take up to an hour in a space the size of a closet. The units themselves are no better. The water quality from sinks and showers is poor. After cleaning, a pink slime quickly builds up, along with black residue in the toilet. Management attributes this to the age of the property and does not address the underlying plumbing or water quality issues. My roommate, who lived here before I moved in, has a closet that smells musty and of mildew or mold. Multiple maintenance requests have been submitted, but the issue remains unresolved. The likely cause is behind the wall, as the closet shares a wall with two showers. Our unit has also experienced multiple bug infestations. Over Christmas and New Year’s, bugs were found in bedrooms and under the living room couch. We reported it immediately once the office reopened, but it took two weeks for treatment. About six weeks later, the bed bugs returned. Attempts to contact the property manager were unsuccessful; on-call staff said they would be unavailable for the week but that someone would inspect the unit. No one came until we followed up again. After another week and a half, an inspection was conducted, but only one room was checked. The report falsely stated that all rooms were inspected and no evidence of bed bugs was found, despite three rooms not being examined at all. Concerns brought to the leasing staff are routinely disregarded. The staff is unprofessional and unresponsive, often delaying action unless repeatedly pressured. Issues are avoided rather than addressed, and responses come only after persistent follow-up. Paragraph 16 of the lease requires the owner to act with reasonable time and diligence in addressing health and safety hazards. Their inaction violates this requirement. Find another place to sign a lease. Properties such as Uwalk Apartments, Aspen Heights Charlotte, Arcadia Student Living, Rush Student Living Charlotte, and Millennium One Apartments are better options and not significantly more expensive. Living here has negatively impacted my college experience. Do not live here.
