Malik was absolutely amazing. He was able to go into detail about all the amenities and different things the neighborhood has to offer. He was also a great tour guide and answered all of my many questions. Thank you again. I will be making this my new college home in fall 2026🫶🏽 CHOOSE ASPEN HEIGHTS

I’ve lived here for almost a year now and I have to say this is the best place with fully furnished apartments near UNCC the apartments are really nice and spacious compared to the other places that I’ve lived at around here. My favorite is the amount of amenities you get such as the gym and a huge pull next to the office, also as a student office is a great place to study and relax, as it is very open and quiet. They also have a coffee making machine for when you have to study late at night. I would definitely recommend this place for other students.

I cannot reiterate enough. Do not live at this place. Living at this complex has been nothing but a nightmare. I do not know who is on their hiring team, but whoever is responsible for appointing management is insanely terrible at their job. Despite getting a whole new set of managers recently, they are no better AT ALL than the other ones. In fact probably worse. The lack of customer service, honesty, and just simply respect is insane. They continue to hire random people off the street with no experience in management whatsoever. - I had a roommate this year slash my tires as well as threaten me in my own home. The leasing office did absolutely NOTHING. They refused to give the footage to the police regardless of them being requested to do so by them. What complex wouldn’t want to assist their resident when their property was damaged?? It is advertised as student living however this individual is 26 with no association to a school whatsoever. They have grown adults living here, one as old as 67. DO NOT SEND YOUR COLLEGE STUDENTS TO LIVE HERE. IT IS NOT SAFE. There was a shooting incident that occurred as well, and cars always getting broken into. - I was supposed to be transferred to a new unit. They had me displaced from my current unit for a week and kept pushing off my move in, stating they had to clean it. Move in comes. Not a thing has been cleaned. Someone’s contacts were on the floor, hair all over the bathroom. Someone’s stained shower hooks still stuck to the tub, and they stated they “can’t get them off”. Black mold spots on the toilet. Not only is this a biohazard it’s pathetic. I left the unit I moved out of SPOTLESS and they had no decency to clean my unit that I was moving into. The manager refuses to do anything and states it’s simply “not up to my standards” but the room has not been cleaned AT ALL. Literally pubes on the tub??? Steer as far away from this complex as you can. Their employees are useless and you will be nothing but disappointed time and time again.

I personally love my unit and the amenities such as the gym and study rooms. My issue arises with parking. I live in an apartment and there is very little parking for residents with non compact cars. If you have an SUV or truck, be ready to either have no parking due to compact cars parking in full sized spots OR pay an extra $20 a month to have a spot where your car isn’t getting hit daily. I drive an SUV and have been door dinged multiple times. I parked over the line one night for the next morning to realize my car is completely gone and I had to pay $300 cash. No warnings whatsoever and the property manager, Ella, was not helpful. Not to forget I had just paid $125 in extra fees. They even charged us 5 TIMES for trash last month with no explanation. $50 in total for that. Recommend just opting out of valet trash because it’s easier and cheaper to take trash out yourself.

I used to love living here but now I cannot wait until I move out. I live in an apartment and very often I cannot find parking inside the gate, leading to me parking on the street. Parking on the street is a huge mess because it gets so crowded on each side, basically making it a way one road. I constantly feel like I’m gonna get in an accident. The lack of visitor parking just makes it so irritating to drive on that road. On top of the fact that you could live there and have no parking inside of the gate. Good luck trying to get an email response from anyone at the leasing office. I have sent multiple emails and never once have gotten a response. As well as when you call often times, no one answers. Valet trash is also a poor system. You will have to pay for it but often times they don’t pick up your trash and then you will have multiple bags of trash and then when they do finally come, they won’t take all of your trash. This often leads to me having to walk to the dumpster to take care of my trash, even though I pay monthly for valet trash. My roommate has asked the leasing office about it but they said nothing can be done and are not concerned. And don’t forget to pull in the bins at the right time, or they’re going to charge you hundreds of dollars. This complex went from one of the nicest student living complexes on the market to overpriced and poorly managed. I don’t recommend this apartment for how much you will be paying. If you want to re-sign, they’re gonna charge you more than people that are moving in for their first year, which makes no sense. Meaning, each year you resign you are paying more than the prior year, even thought nothing is changing and you are a repeat client. Apartments and townhomes are not moving ready when they give you the keys. When I moved into my second unit, it reeked of weed and my dishwasher was filled with mold and it took them a week to clean it. I had to go to the leasing office multiple times and they told me it was going to be a long wait because it wasn’t “high priority”, despite it being a biohazard and health concern. There is also black mold near my living room air vet. The floor of my shower has dark stains all over it and my drains did not work upon moving in. Lastly, be sure to read your lease carefully because I did not know that I agreed to allow management into my apartment and give future residence tours without my consent while I was not home. During this tour they even met my cat. All well I was not home and had no idea.
