Melrose On 4th Apartments & Brooklyn Heights Apartments, charleston-il

I have absolutely enjoyed the process of moving into melrose. Miriam made the process easy and gave me a whole walk through of setting me up in the app(super easy to access emergencies, maintenance requests, or paying bills.)Very friendly staff. Everyday is a vacation when your at melrose. Only thing missing is the beach. And PET FRIENDLY

I transferred to EIU during the pandemic and spent my first semester living in the dorms, feeling like I wouldn't be able to feel 'at home' being three hours away from my home town. Then, I fell in love with Melrose and Brooklyn Heights the moment I took my first tour. The apartments are clean, modern, and so comfortable. I feel at home being able to have my own washer/dryer, stove, fridge, and balcony, and also being able to decorate however I want to. I've also loved using the hot tubs, workout rooms, and tanning - it honestly makes me feel like I'm on vacation. Amy and Melissa are the best leasing and property managers I could ask for, and they are so friendly and kind if any concern with my apartment needs to be addressed. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else!

I have lived at Melrose and Brooklyn for almost 2 years and have absolutely loved living here! The staff are always so nice and helpful. The apartments are specious and very open and are conveniently close to campus! Being able to walk too and from campus when the weather is nice has been one of my favorite parts of living here!

I absolutely LOVE living at Melrose! As an EIU student the last 4 years, I can honestly say that Melrose is easily my favorite place to live. I regret not finding Melrose sooner. These apartments offer a home away from home; with an extremely comfortable setup and living area. I love the size of my room, being a "room-body" but this apartment makes me want to hangout at the large island and do my grad school work. Also, the roommate matching process is great, I love my new roommate and we get along very well, while also having our own privacy! 10/10 would recommend to any EIU student or faculty member.

To be honest, I was nervous moving to such a small town coming from the Chicago suburbs. My entire experience at Melrose/Brooklyn Heights has been pleasant, relaxing, and comfortable from the day I signed my lease. The apartments are huge given relatively cheap rent, and completely satisfy my needs, even as a graduate student. Our leasing agents are quick to respond and go above and beyond when looking into/solving any issues you may be having. Misty, in particular, consistently takes the time and puts in the effort to ensure you are 110% satisfied with your home. Additionally, she cares to get to know her tenants, and is always eager to have a conversation with you or ask how you are doing. My expectations of living here were exceeded, and I would recommend living here to any friends or family considering moving to Charleston.
