Pacifica on Green, champaign-il

Personally didn't have any problem with them. No roaches, neat amenities, no leaking, speedy response from maintenance, and the rooms were well furnished. No electrics had really broken down either over my 2-year lease. The one star off was for my unit being right next to the train track, so you could hear it audibly even with windows closed, sometimes a few times per day. It probably isn't an issue for some other units though. Overall, can recommend as long as you have a dependable mean of transportation to your classes (somewhat far from the quad), or if you dont mind some walkings or taking buses for 20 minutes.

So excited! My sister and I just signed a lease for Pacifica on Green this fall. The leasing office was clean, organized and had a model unit to show how the cabinets, furniture were going to look like. Love the modern cabinets and saw it will have quartz countertops, and stainless steel appliances. The contemporary aesthetics is on point. 👌I saw the renderings for the amenities, which made me even more excited. Amanda from the office was super helpful and informative. I can’t wait to move in!

Just moved in recently, and Pacifica on Green really knows how to welcome new residents. Forget flowers or a handshake—the “welcome gift” here is getting your car towed from the parking spot you pay for every month. No warning, no courtesy notice, just straight to towing. Amazing efficiency… if only the same energy went into helping tenants instead of profiting off them. So if you’re thinking of living here, remember: your “reserved parking” might be reserved for the towing company’s paycheck.

Abby was so incredibly helpful in helping us walk through the leasing process over the phone without being there in person. She answered our (many) questions thoroughly and helped put us at ease. Looking forward to joining the community!

I lived here for 2 years and was the along with the first set of tenants. Maintenance people are amazing! Management was just weird for both years, especially the 1st. Other front desk staff the first year were super sweet. The 2nd year they were super fake and had some weird vibe to them, very off putting. So my first year, not everything was ready. The beds are also those terrible ones you get in the dorms. I lived at the place next door 32 e green and it was MUCH better. You’ll never really use the amenities here so why pay. I wrote an “anonymous”ish review on Reddit and the property manager called me. It was super weird because my name has nothing to do with me. Really odd behavior from a leasing company. They even called my mom and made her all worried. The speed bumps if you have a car are RIDICULOUS. They are not normal ones and they installed like 4. This would’ve made me immediately not choose this place. I get people are fast, but 4 is excessive and it’s SUPER bumpy an even if you go slow it’s definitely damaging your car to some extent. They are good about sending out email advances regarding visiting your unit. One time I swear they messed up. My roommate and I got nothing and the maintenance guy was in there doing his rounds. Def not his fault by any means. But that was so awkward! Oh and the parking under the garage. If someone was in your spot you were advised to not call the tow company! Pacifica would want you to tell them and they’d send out an email to everyone first. You’d have to park all the way in the back even when you paid for underground. Th move out process was swift and I did clean a ton. Since I had no initial deposit I shockingly had no other additional fees. They actually refunded me my pet deposit which was a little iffy if a process. When I talked to someone on the phone my first year she said it’s refundable. Then I called asking where it was and they said it’s a pet fee and not refundable. I’m glad I spoke up because it was something they recently changed so I should still have been getting my money back.
