The front desk employees are AMAZING. I asked so many questions and they assured me that it was okay to ask as many questions as I wanted. They were both very friendly and had great attitudes. I truly loved my experience touring the rooms at Midtown and they were the ones who made sure that my experience was as best as possible.

Here is everything you need to know about Midtown before you move in! I moved here fairly quickly because of the situation I was in, and would never choose to live here if I had more time to find a place. Do not recommend at all. Here's what you need to know. - Student housing so not the best for furniture if you get a unit with furniture already in it. The bathtub was cracked when I moved in, the bed was loose, and the couch in our living room had holes in it. - It's $40 for parking every single month and they absolutely will tow anyone who does not have a parking pass. So if you want to have guests, its pretty inconvenient. 24 hour towing - they will give you no slack - $25 extra a month if you have a pet - I was a WKU grad student when I moved in, but most of Midtown are undergraduate students most likely in a sorority or a fraternity. That being said, it is party central every single weekend. There was never a weekend when music wasn't blaring. - On top of being party central, it also has a bar across the street and is right beside college street (which is like THE party street). If that's your lifestyle great, if not, it wasn't fun always running into drunk people every time I came home. - No elevator in case you didn't know, which is fine it wasn't too inconvenient for me but I know it can be a deal breaker for some other people. It's also like a motel - you walk outside your door and you're outside. So when it snowed, the stairwells were covered with ice that it took them forever to help clear off. Same with the parking lot. - They do NOT pro rate the last month of your lease even though most of them end on July 15th. So even though it was only half the month, I still paid the full month of rent for July. - They do treat it like WKU Housing in the sense of they check spaces every break. They'll enter your space during Christmas Break, spring break, etc. The times college students are likely to not be there. Not really a huge deal but just a FYI. - There was also a situation with the police where they brought a canine in and staked out a guy that was living on the 3rd floor and yelling out the window to threaten people (me being one of them.) They had to bust the door down and arrest him. He had priors, so just makes you wonder about background checks and overall safety. That's all I can think of right now, but seriously - I didn't enjoy my experience living here at all. The staff here also wasn't very friendly or helpful, most the time they just acted like they didn't want to be there. Thanks for reading!

The property is a very nice place to live, which is reflected in my five-star rating. What I liked: The interior facilities are complete, clean, modern, and well maintained. All staff I interacted with in the leasing office and maintenance team are friendly, reasonable, and responsive. The location is excellent and allows me to commute to work on foot. The property is pet-friendly, and during my stay the pet rent was reasonable. This is not an exhaustive list. Things to consider: I work at WKU rather than study there. The leasing and renewal cycle is clearly designed around the academic calendar, which works well for students who know how many years they will be here, but may feel less flexible for non-students. With enough information, this should not be an issue for student residents. There are no elevators for upper-level units, and many delivery carriers do not bring packages directly to the door. Packages must be picked up at the leasing office.

Poor experience - Always smelled like mildew. I lived there for multiple school years. They are slow to respond, often have a condescending attitude, and my apartment was definitely not worth the expense. The apartment has had a bad odor since moving in and everything in my apartment smells from it - which is why I had to give it away. I would recommend that you ask others who currently lived there regarding their experience before signing papers.

Beautiful apartment complex with lots of amenities in a great location close to everything you need. My leasing agent Madelyn was very nice and informative took her time answer all my questions, showed me around thoroughly. Overall, it was great experience being there!
