Warning to anyone thinking about renting from Blueground in Boston: Imagine signing a lease, believing your home is secure for several more months, and then suddenly being told your move-out date was changed to tomorrow — with less than 12 hours’ notice, no clear explanation, and no formal legal process. That is what happened in my experience with Blueground. Shortly after, strangers entered the apartment saying they were there for “move-out cleaning” while my family was still inside. The apartment was occupied. My family was inside. And somehow, people were sent in as if the place was already vacant. I had to contact Blueground immediately and demand that the cleaners leave. My lawyer also tried reaching them multiple times, but getting a clear response was extremely difficult. This was not a small mistake or a normal customer service issue. This was the kind of situation that makes you question whether your home can be treated like a hotel room instead of a legally occupied apartment. No renter should ever have to wonder if people will suddenly walk into their home, or if their lease date can be changed overnight without proper notice and legal process. Please be extremely careful before renting from Blueground. Do your own research, understand your rights, and do not assume your lease is safe just because it is written on paper.

I have booked a 2b2b in Sunnyvale on Apr 23. After I got my 100% payment made, I received my apartment number. I sent my local friend to the apartment complex and she told me that my unit is under a huge powerline system. I looked again the advertising photos of the two bedrooms and balcony, there is no sign of any powerline. A company like blueground need to honestly present the key information like this. I request a full refund with my cancellation with no charge on service and booking. I would suggest Blueground to stay honest and keep the quality of your brand name to stay competitive in the short-term rental market. Yours Sincerely,

We needed temporary housing in the Boston area for six months, and the furnished apartment from Blueground was a perfect fit for our needs. Their pricing for a six-month stay was better than what we were seeing on Airbnb or Vrbo for similar options. The apartment came with an attached indoor garage and all the essential amenities, which made day-to-day living very convenient. The internet speed could have been better, but it was adequate for our regular use. The kitchen was well stocked and had enough supplies for a family of four, and the HVAC system kept us comfortably cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Maintenance support was excellent—our repair request was handled promptly and professionally, which gave us peace of mind during our stay. Overall, we had a very positive experience and would definitely choose Blueground again if a similar need arises in the future

I’ve been staying at a unit in Revere (Amaya building) for over a month; it’s been a fantastic experience and definitely better than Airbnb. We only had one issue (missing bed pillows for a couple nights, which was okay since there were plenty of couch cushions to use instead). Other than that, everything has been running super smoothly and easily. Check in was a breeze, and the place was really clean and well stocked. The sales team was amazing in helping us extend our stay at the last minute, too. Overall I really recommend Blueground to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay!
