PLEASE READ!!!!!!!!!! I can't begin to express my frustration with King Street Flats. Ever since my move in in August, the air conditioning has been entirely insufficient, rarely getting below 72 degrees in my unit. Beginning in late November and lasting until early February, the heat on the entire 3rd floor was broken. We went 2 months during one of my coldest winters in Boone without heat. In mid March when the temperature started to rise again, the AC broke. We are now close to a month without AC. Maintenance keeps being called for quick fixes that never last. I am hesitant to run my oven, my dishwasher, and my laundry machine because they only make my unit hotter. I've had to keep the window open 24/7 for the past month to keep it livable, and now I have flies in my apartment. It's worth noting that it is often cooler outside than it is in my apartment. I would absolutely NOT LIVE HERE unless you want to be monumentally ripped off. $1535/month (the cheapest unit in the building) for no AC and no heat the entire year is abhorrent. ***Edited to add: I requested a fan and the one they provided me with is caked in black dirt and dust.

Lived there for two years very convenient location, close to campus! Fully furnished which is good! I liked it overall but rent was very expensive and apartment had a lot of consistent AC issues while I lived there.

Don’t live here unless you want to pay $2,000+ a month for an apartment with no AC. My ac has been broken since August and maintenance continues to say they “fixed” it, but they haven’t. Oh, and if you want to do laundry, prepare for it to take 8 hours and instantly make your apartment even hotter than before.

My son lived there for and year and a half and it was a very good experience. Thank you Angelina, you were very helpful and patient with us throughout his stay. Would defiantly recommend living here. Go Angelina and go app state!!!
Naan Land
This flat was built after the city tore down the homeless shelter in 2021. The City of Boone thinks getting rid of housing for the homeless will get rid of them, but they are wrong. Now this place is charging rent that is way too high for a college student to afford. You should not live here if you value your money and your morals.
