We’ve had such a wonderful experience with Boone High Country Rentals. From day one, Ian has been incredibly helpful, attentive, and easy to work with. The maintenance of our unit has always been handled quickly and with care, and every interaction has felt supportive and professional. As we transition into a separate unit while building our home, I’m even more grateful for how seamless they’ve made this chapter for us. We truly love this community. It feels peaceful, welcoming, and exactly where we’re meant to be. I can’t thank them enough for making this move such a positive experience. Highly recommend working with Ian and the entire team.

If I could leave a 5 star review for Alex 100 times I would! Our dishwasher in Forrest Edge began to leak and my roommate called and placed a maintenance request but was met with no solution. She was sent straight to voicemail and placed on hold while gallons of water were profusely spilling out of our dishwasher. It was until I called and Alex answered when we were met with a solution! He immediately sprung into action and found a maintenance man to come out for us! He was so polite and stayed focused during our emergency! Moral of the story is we love Alex!

This company goes beyond the lease contracts that they facilitate. They helped me during rough life circumstances and familial death by searching for a solution to my strict lease agreement, which I would've been responsible for dealing with for over a year and losing $20k plus. They are people forward, even as the market incentivizes greed and rigorous rules (most leases in Boone do not allow paying double rent to break the lease!). Much thanks to Meghan and Ian for putting themselves out there for me and making this work. Their work was outstanding and desperately needed at this time.

First, ignore the Google review ratings for BHCR! We had an excellent experience with them as our property managers. Their maintenance team was always quick to respond, very professional, kind, and thorough! Melissa gets a SUPER HUGE shout out here! She helped us get into the home and stayed connected with us and checked in on us even as we moved on from Boone to Florida. I can't speak for the student housing or anything like that, but the home that we rented and our experience was excellent! THANK YOU AGAIN BHCR!!!

My son will be moving into a BHCR house in August. So far management (Kendra and Autumn) have been very helpful, answering my lease questions and walking me through the process. We saw the house for the first time last week (the blind preleasing is ridiculous) and Ian Munoz from BHCR was really helpful and courteous, answering all our many questions. He even made the effort to reach out to tell me of home improvements that are planned. The real test will come when my son moves in… hoping the helpfulness continues, and that Ian sticks around!
