I lived at Aspen Heights during my junior year at Indiana University, and it was easily one of the best living experiences I’ve had in Bloomington. The property is incredibly clean, well-maintained, and visually impressive. From the moment you walk in, it feels more like a resort than a typical student apartment community. The apartments and common areas are always kept in great condition, and the entire property has a premium feel to it. One of the biggest highlights is the staff. Everyone in the leasing office is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cares about residents. Maintenance requests are handled quickly and professionally, which makes a huge difference when you’re busy with classes and campus life. The amenities are outstanding. The resort-style pool is beautiful, and the massive jumbotron creates an atmosphere you won’t find anywhere else in Bloomington. The gym, study spaces, and community areas are all thoughtfully designed and make living here enjoyable year-round. Aspen Heights also does an amazing job creating a sense of community through resident events. Whether it’s free fitness classes, food events, giveaways, or other activities, there’s always something happening that makes living here feel special. If you’re an IU student looking for a place that combines luxury, comfort, and a great community atmosphere, I highly recommend Aspen Heights. It truly set the standard for off-campus living during my time in Bloomington.

This is my second year living here, and I can honestly say I love it even more than the first! It’s hands down the cleanest, most well-maintained, and aesthetically pleasing apartment complex in all of Bloomington. From the moment you walk in, it truly feels like home. The staff is always incredibly friendly and welcoming — they go above and beyond to make sure residents feel taken care of. Maintenance requests are handled quickly and efficiently, which is such a huge plus. And don’t even get me started on the amenities! The resort-style pool is absolutely stunning, and the massive jumbotron adds a fun, luxurious touch — it feels like a mini vacation every single day. Whether you’re relaxing by the pool, studying in the stylish common areas, or hitting the gym, everything is thoughtfully designed to enhance the resident experience. What really sets this place apart are the amazing events hosted throughout the year. From free poolside Pilates with Hot Room instructors, to permanent bracelet pop-ups, to Chick-fil-A days (yes, really!) — there’s always something to look forward to. It makes the community feel vibrant, connected, and full of life. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, convenience, and a little bit of luxury, I couldn’t recommend this place more. It’s truly the best living experience I’ve had in Bloomington!

I would not recommend Aspen Heights Bloomington. Living here was nothing but a money pit and a frustrating experience from start to finish. There were constant problems throughout my time living here, and getting anything resolved was nearly impossible. It seemed like anytime an issue came up, management either couldn’t do anything about it or would give some sort of excuse instead of actually fixing the problem. The customer service was also disappointing. Many of my interactions with the front office staff felt unprofessional and unhelpful, which only added to the frustration when trying to get assistance. Another major issue was the winter weather. When snow and ice hit, little to nothing was done to help residents whose cars were snowed in. The parking lots and roads were often left in poor condition, making it difficult and sometimes unsafe to get in and out. It’s also much farther from campus than they make it seem when advertising to students. Overall, the high cost, poor management, lack of support, and constant issues made this one of the worst housing experiences I’ve had. I would strongly encourage students to look at other housing options before signing a lease here.

I've been living at Aspen Heights for the past 3 weeks, and I’m absolutely loving it! The gym and pool are fantastic, and I’m really enjoying the extra space in my townhome—it’s much larger than my previous place. The location is super convenient, with Kroger and a gas station just around the corner. I’m excited to spend the rest of the year here!
