My experience at Stone Ridge Apartments was very disappointing, and I would not recommend living here. The biggest issue during my stay was the recurring roach problem. There were multiple pest-control treatments during my lease, including the community’s quarterly pest-control visits, an additional maintenance request I submitted, and direct communication with the leasing office. Even after all of those treatments, the problem was never fully resolved. What disappointed me the most was the lack of follow-up. After each treatment, the maintenance request was simply closed after placing gel in a few areas. No one ever contacted me to check whether the problem was actually fixed. When I moved out, I was told that I should have continued creating maintenance requests until the issue was resolved. That means the responsibility was placed on me to keep opening requests instead of management following up after each treatment. The move-out process was even more frustrating. I was charged for multiple items, including hundreds of dollars for an oven/range replacement. During my visit to the leasing office, I was shown photos that appeared to show a few roaches near the oven’s control panel. However, those photos were never uploaded to the resident portal or shared with me. I repeatedly requested photos showing an infestation inside the oven, along with oven inspection reports, technician findings, or documentation explaining why the entire appliance needed to be replaced instead of cleaned or repaired. Other than a replacement invoice and a general pest-control email, I never received documentation specifically showing an infestation inside the oven or explaining why replacement was necessary. One mistake I made was not taking enough photos and videos on move-in day. I was also charged for items that I believe already existed before I moved in. If you’re moving here, complete the move-in inspection form very carefully. Report everything, even small paint scratches, stains, dents, marks, or anything that looks minor. Take photos and videos of every room, every appliance, every wall, every cabinet, and every floor before moving your belongings in. Also, if you have any maintenance issue, create a maintenance request through the resident portal immediately. If the issue is not fixed, create another request. Keep doing it until the problem is actually resolved. Don’t assume one request is enough. Save every email, every maintenance request, and every photo because you may need them later. If you’re moving here because of the move-in specials or concessions, be extra careful. Based on my experience, I felt that many move-out charges were added, and I ended up paying far more than I expected. Make sure you review every charge carefully and ask for supporting documentation if something doesn’t seem right. I hope this review helps future tenants avoid the experience I had.

I recently moved into Stone Ridge Apartments 😊 Alexandria was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the leasing process — thanks to her, I felt warmly welcomed and comfortable from my very first day in Alabama 💛 When I first moved in, there were a few maintenance requests, but they were handled the same day! The service has been amazing 🔧✨ The apartment feels cozy and peaceful, surrounded by lots of trees💚 I love waking up to the sound of birds in the morning! The complex sits on a gentle hill, giving it a nice sense of privacy and safety. It feels peaceful and secure, like a quiet little community of its own. I also saw some reviews mentioning concerns about bugs, but I haven’t had any issues. They take pest control seriously and respond quickly if you report anything 👍 Overall, I’m super happy living here and highly recommend it! 💕

Thinking I made a mistake moving here. Property manager (Alex) doesn't seem to be too concerned about her tenants once the lease is signed. She also apparently allows frat parties at the pool on the weekends as I have personally witnessed three in the last month. It's a shame we pay so much money for rent but can't enjoy the amenities. I thought this was a more family-oriented property but it's looking like I was wrong.

I’ve really enjoyed living in this community—it’s been a great experience with no complaints so far. A special shoutout to Clark from the maintenance team. He is incredibly friendly, attentive, and consistently does excellent work. It’s clear he genuinely cares about residents and takes pride in what he does. Thank you, Clark, for making living here even better!
