Do not rent an apartment at Identity Logan Park. The experience here has been getting worse every passing day. The fire alarm goes off constantly, often late at night or early in the morning, and most of the time there is no actual fire or smoke. It seems to be faulty, yet the issue keeps happening repeatedly. The management has also become very unresponsive. They often do not reply to emails, but they have no problem spamming residents with lease renewal offers despite the poor service. The locker room does not have reliable or clearly followed hours; whether it is open or not seems to depend entirely on management’s convenience. Also, be prepared to compromise your privacy. Management can walk into your apartment using their key, which is extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable for residents who expect their home to actually feel like their own private space. The shuttle/bus service is also unreliable. It rarely leaves on time, which makes it difficult to depend on. Weekends are especially frustrating because of excessive noise from the sky roof or second-floor lounge. There have also been issues like vomit in the elevator, which makes the living environment feel poorly managed and unpleasant. Overall, the building may look good from the outside, but the day-to-day living experience is extremely disappointing. Between the constant false fire alarms, poor communication, unreliable services, and noise issues, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

We toured this apartment for our daughter. It's new, clean and well Maintained with thoughtful floor plans that are designed to maximize living space. There are also a lot of community spaces for students to hang out. I was most impressed by Yaselle who gave us the tour on a Sunday afternoon. She is smart and knowledgeable and had answers to all our questions. Thank you Yaselle!

We (a UCB student and parents) went for a housing tour. Yaselle showed us around to check the amenities and environment. It seemed safe and convenient to walk to school. We are considering to rent an unit there.

Unethical Management and Severe Refund Delays As the parent of a freshman international UCB student, our experience with Identity Logan Park has been an absolute nightmare. I have never written a Google review before, but I feel it is necessary to share my experience to inform other students searching for housing. **1. Unethical Interference with Lease Resolution:** I spent significant time finding a replacement tenant to take over my daughter's lease. I provided my prospective takeover tenant with the leasing office's contact information, as instructed, to finalize the transfer. Shortly after, the tenant abruptly informed me that she would no longer proceed without providing any reason. By pure chance, when I visited the office, I discovered the leasing manager was actively on the phone with that same tenant, signing her to a brand-new lease at another unit in the same building instead of processing my transfer. The remaining value of the lease is over $10,000. I showed the manager with my evidence stating that we would seek further action. I eventually paid a $350 lease takeover fee to end the lease. **2. Refusal of Pro-rated Refund:** A new tenant moved into the building and paid pro-rated rent for the month, meaning the property suffered zero financial loss. However, management has flatly refused to provide a pro-rated refund for the 14 days of rent my daughter already paid ($546). Under California law, landlords should not collect double rent for the same period. **3. Five-Month+ Delay & Stop Payment:** California law requires the return of security deposits and prepaid rent within 21 days. The manager initially said we would receive the prepaid last month's rent within 3 months, yet we have been forced to wait over FIVE MONTHS despite several communications via email. Later, I went to their office in person. The manager gave me a bunch of ridiculous and unreasonable excuses, but once I mentioned taking legal action, I finally received my check a week later. Shockingly, after my daughter deposited the check into her bank, they placed a "Stop Payment" on it without any notice. When I informed the leasing manager that the check had been stopped, he actually asked ME to explain why.(So ridiculous !) I told him that, as the issuer, it was HIS responsibility to explain it to me. Later, he claimed that their bank suspected the check of "potential fraud" and that the stop payment was a "mistake." This is an absolutely ridiculous excuse. Why would a bank suspect a check issued by the management team itself? While he apologized again and promised a new check, I am completely exhausted by the endless cycle of excuses and empty apologies whenever I try to protect my daughter's rights. Due to administrative mistakes, they also overcharged $65 and promised to return it, which remains unpaid. This whole ordeal has been incredibly time-consuming and emotionally draining.

Got the best tour by Yaselle who was super kind, sweet, and informative! Got all of our questions answered and felt very taken care of, especially afterwards when handling logistics. She took the time to answer all of our questions carefully and I felt a lot more confident about applying. The building feels nice and modern!
