The most viable and the best place to be at Berkeley! BSC Co-ops come with Low rent most of the utilities included and close to campus. Living at Fenwick currently, the co-op is a great place with spacious bedrooms and large common living areas. It’s the most value one gets with respect to the number of amenities they provide. BSC also provides common study/ lounge areas with free Internet access PC to use, printer, one cannot ask for more. The open areas are a great place to hangout with your friends too. Secured entry gates! Everyone here lives like a community which is a big benefit to expand and network with fellow graduates. It’s a big family and you’ll love it.

This is the cheapest rent in Berkeley! And the easiest landlord to deal with. I've loved the years I've spent with the BSC. I've met life-long friends, and am able to get through grad affordably

Living at the Berkeley Student Cooperative has been an amazing experience! The affordable rent is a huge plus, especially in an area where housing costs can be quite high. The cooperative environment is incredibly welcoming and friendly. Everyone here is so supportive and it's easy to make friends. The sense of community is strong, with lots of opportunities to get involved and contribute. If you're looking for a budget-friendly, inclusive, and engaging place to live while studying at UC Berkeley, I highly recommend the Berkeley Student Cooperative!

I am an Irish student on a work visa for the summer and have been living in the Berkeley student cooperative (Rochdale) since may this year. With the cheap rents prices I didn’t really expect much but I have been blown away by the place and the community. The complex has all the facilities you could wish for. The common garden is a lovely place to unwind and relax and the laundry room is very handy. Not only are the rent prices the cheapest around but most importantly there is a great sense of community around the place. I would recommend to anyone seeking accommodation in the Berkeley area!

Living at the Rochdale/Fenwick complex at the BSC has been a fantastic experience. The affordable rent was what initially caught my eye, but it’s the sense of community that’s kept me here. The apartments are well-equipped with everything you need, and the student managers do an awesome job hosting fun events and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Plus, there are opportunities for paid positions and scholarships, which is a huge bonus. Davis Park, which is equipped with a basketball court, gazebo for BBQs, and beautiful garden (which often produce fruit and vegetables that everyone can help themselves to), are great spots to relax and connect with neighbors. If you’re looking for budget-friendly housing with a supportive community, housing with the BSC is definitely worth considering.
