The tour that I had was great. The building is well taken care of. The gym was nice, a little small but a great variety of workout machines and it wasn’t crowded. The building also felt very safe and secure. The kitchen with the mini market was very nice also very clean. The views were also great. The sky lounge and roof deck were my favorite part. The rooms are good sizes. Also the building has bike storage. The laundry room was a little messy but it was a busy laundry day. I liked that there were a lot of washers and dryers. Everyone there was also very nice.

I love living here. I would agree with most other reviews that the rent is high, but if that’s the case live somewhere else; I guarantee that you won’t find the same kind of amenities that Stateside offers. This place has bike storage, gym facilities, residential events, and a laundry room at no extra cost. The staff also makes this place feel much more welcoming. There’s this one dude that works here, Colby, who has the friendliest demeanor; he’s always there to help out with something in my unit in a professional manner. Madeline in the leasing office is great as well, she always gives my dog a treat when I come into the office with a question. Sometimes Delaney and Stephen are also working in the office, they are always quick to answer a leasing question and help provide great community events by promoting engagement and taking photos! Regarding actual maintenance; David and Derek are amazing, I remember one time they came to look at the front door of my unit. It was too tough to open and they went right ahead and adjusted it for me, what great guys! I also see Cove as they are vacuuming in the morning, they always smile and wave as I go by. Lastly, Freja has has also helped me out before. I had an important leasing question regarding my pet, and she was able to get me all the information I needed! In short, Stateside is a great place to live because it offers many amenities that other places don’t have and the staff is amazing.

A great facility. I was once given a tour by one of the leasing assistants Colby, who was extremely friendly and professional. He answered all of my questions with obvious expertise, and made the whole experience super fun. The building is extremely safe, in a great location, it's clean, has a gym, laundry, multiple community centers throughout, and all around extremely high quality. I have also never seen an apartment building with such a nice gym!

I am Very pleased with the staff and the way Stateside not only represents itself online, but the way it goes beyond in person, the building is always clean and well taken care of which is something i've never experienced in my last apartment. they go above and beyond to make the building a safe and accepting space, and the environment is amazing and also stylish. including the amenities as well, gym, laundry, in building, market, and onsite parking garage. i am very very happy.

Edited review after Owner replied: No hot water for 8 days, only provided $100 in compensation, zero communication about it. RCW 59.18.060(11) mandates that landlords must provide and maintain a system capable of supplying hot and cold water. RCW 59.18.070(1) dictates a strict 24-hour timeline to commence remedial action when a tenant is deprived of hot water. Because the boiler failure completely deprived my apartment of hot water for 8 consecutive days, the rental value of the unit was significantly diminished during this period. My prorated daily rent cost is $28.75. A full credit for these 8 unlivable days equals $230.00 ($28.75 × 8 days). The current $100.00 offer breaks down to just $12.50 per day, which does not adequately account for the daily hardship of sourcing outside facilities or boiling water for basic hygiene and cleaning. Pursuant to the legal framework for rent abatement outlined in RCW 59.18.110, you should have provided the day rate or at least bare minimum 50% of the day rate because it is a livable requirement to have hot water. You did not do so and all you said was “we worked as quickly as possible” which contradicts your actual actions. As the owner you know that it would cost more for me and all of the other residents to take you to small claims court to get the full credit, so you strategically chose an amount that you gets off the easiest. Profits over people, right…? Edit 2: Thanks for taking your reply down. Would love to hear a real reply if you have one. Screenshot is provided in the review for the original reply. Corporate, management, and Freya all just sent Stateside head first off a cliff. Good luck.
