Wildwood Apartments has been a great place to live! The new management team is doing an amazing job and is clearly committed to making the community the best experience possible for residents. You can really see the positive changes happening throughout the property. Huge shoutout to the leasing team for always answering all of my crazy questions with patience and a smile. Keep up the great work!

Location is really nice and super close to campus! More expensive than similar housing options, but worth it given all the amenities. Bailey is especially helpful to the community. She's always professional, she helps apartment issues in a timely manner, does a great job maintaining the complex, and is super friendly to the tenants. Wildwood is doing great under her leadership!

Wildwood Baton Rouge Management deserve ZERO stars. Before signing a lease at Wildwood for your college student, PROCEED WITH CAUTION! Our recent experience raised serious concerns about how management handles roommate disputes. In our case, there appeared to be no clear or fair process in place. My daughter was notified via email, with no prior discussion or warning, that she was required to transfer units and had only three days to move out. This abrupt decision was extremely distressing for her, especially during her final weeks at LSU. When we sought clarification from management, Emily Alfieri, we were not given transparent or consistent information about how this decision was reached. Serious allegations were made against my daughter, yet she was never given an opportunity to respond before action was taken. It is particularly concerning that management did not appear to conduct a thorough review of the situation. A more balanced approach - such as speaking with all parties involved or reviewing prior interactions, could have led to a fairer outcome. We have filed a formal complaint with SPM but have not seen any meaningful response. Wildwood states that they value their residents. Based on our experience, we did not feel supported during a difficult situation. I encourage other parents and students to ask detailed questions about dispute resolution policies before signing a lease.

The maintenance and management at wildwood is horrible, especially new management. I’ve complained about our A/C not working multiple times over the course of 3 months and so has my roommate, but yet nothing has been done to fix the problem. Maintenance would come and restart our HVAC and the problem would come back after 2 days. My parents also went to the office to complain about the A/C and they “supposedly” put in a work order but they never came. Maintenance locked our thermostat to where it doesn’t go below 70 or above 73. Our A/C is at 70 at all times but the apt stays at 75. It is absolutely ridiculous the way maintenance and management handle issues from their residents because many other residents have been having the same problem. So as of right now, the A/C barely works in the morning and completely doesn’t work at night. So me and my roommates are living in an hot apartment with barely any A/C in this summer heat. Another thing, if you hate living with bugs then DO NOT MOVE TO WILDWOOD. We’ve had so many bug problems like cockroaches, gnats, ant infestations, and spiders. And when you go complain to the office, they always say “pest control will come Friday.” So you’re basically stuck with living with the bugs for a week. If you want to live in an apartment where you know you can get into your own home, then wildwood is also not a great choice. Our key fobs do not work at all times. I was locked out of my apartment for hours and I called 24/7 emergency maintenance and they would NOT pick up and the office was closed. I finally got into my apartment at 6pm after someone came into the office to resolve the issue. So many residents were in there getting their key fob activated again. The living conditions at wildwood are absolutely horrendous.

I had an issue with my room reservation, however Macey and the Wildwood staff were very professional and had the situation fixed relatively quickly. Edit: I stayed for the 2022-2023 school year and left after graduating. I would give it a 4 star. Unit was a little dirty. Common areas can be a bit dirty as well. Maintenance was slow at first, but by the end of the school year they were responsive. They’re also all incredibly nice. The gate was broken a good amount of the time, so I wouldn’t rely on it. Also the ventilation in the kitchen is pretty terrible. We set off the smoke detectors pretty regularly. It’s nice to have onsight security though. My roommates and I left the front door unlocked often (though I don’t recommend it) and we never had problems. The front desk staff is also helpful and professional. Overall I would say it’s a good place to live as far as student apartments go.
