The Legacy Baton Rouge, baton-rouge-la

If I could leave a 0 star review, I would. I have absolutely nothing good to say about this apartment complex. Typical corporate behavior, with little to no regard for their residents. Incompetent staff and maintenance, who tend to be argumentative and negligent. If you want your car to be wrongfully booted, or fined for every minor inconvenience, like when someone was in my apartment without my knowledge, then be my guest, but if not, look elsewhere. Good location, decent amenities, when they work, but overall a horrible experience. If you go to LSU, avoid this place at all costs. Do not make the mistake that we did. They named it The Legacy because you’ll be telling horror stories about it for generations. Oh yeah, and our door got kicked down once!

The Legacy Apartments are so crooked!! My daughter was charged over $500 after moving out last month for damages to the floor and bed. The bed and the flooring were both perfectly fine. We have pictures to prove it. We left the apartment in way better condition than what we found it in. They just invent things to try and overcharge you for. It’s such a racket! As you can see there’s nothing wrong with the bed or floor except for some stains that were there when she moved in

Apparently only building 3 is out of internet for a WHOLE week. We got both emails on 20th and 22nd about “oh we’re hoping it’s gonna get fix today, we’re working our best” next week is finals week. I can’t even study in my apartment, or do my hw in my room. Front gate has been shut down for a week now. Their new management sucks.

I've genuinely enjoyed my time here at the Legacy! The management team has always been helpful in answering any questions my roommates and I have had, and they are easy to reach. I love our amenities, like the pools and study rooms. I also appreciate how quickly maintenance responds to requests. Overall, it’s been a comfortable and happy experience; I just renewed my lease!

I’ve had a great experience living at The Legacy at Baton Rouge so far. Everything has been pretty smooth, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The only thing I think could be improved is the turnaround time for work orders—if maintenance requests were processed a bit faster, it would make things even better. Overall though, I’ve really enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend it!
