Stafford Apartments, baltimore-md

Having rented a couple apartments at The Stafford over the past few years, I have always found the staff and management to be very responsive, helpful, and professional. In particular, Christine and Tai have gone above and beyond (assisting with a lockout on the weekend, dealing with moving issues, etc) compared to other apartment complexes I have dealt with in the past. Yes, it is an old building but it has charm and the plus is all utilities are included in the price so you don’t have to deal with all sorts of bills. Friendly atmosphere.

I lived in the Stafford Apartments for two years during my graduate study in the area. While the building is old and has some small wrinkles that come from that, my overall experience was a positive one. I had a spacious apartment, never had any big maintenance issues, and Christine is a particularly excellent and kind property manager. What issues and questions I did have she always worked hard to resolve and was friendly and helpful throughout. Overall, would recommend this complex, particularly for local students.

The Stafford is a beautiful, historical apartment. The people who work in The Stafford are my favorite part of the building. As is typical with older apartments, there have been some issues with leaks and hot water, but the staff are very quick to resolve all issues. Especially Christine and John. They are superstars and will get anything fixed, repaired, taken care of ASAP. I loved living in the Stafford and miss the community in the building everyday. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. This was a great experience and I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking in Baltimore!

I moved into Stafford Apartments about a year and half ago, and I couldn't be more thrilled with my experience. The management team here is exceptional, always prompt and efficient in addressing any concerns or issues that arise. Christine, in particular, has a remarkable knack for making residents feel truly at home, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that truly sets Stafford apart. Beyond the comfort of our apartments, the surrounding Mount Vernon community adds another layer of charm and convenience. With its abundance of pubs and restaurants, there's always something new and exciting to explore just steps from our doorstep. Whether it's grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a leisurely evening out, Mount Vernon never disappoints. Additionally, the proximity of my workplace adds even more value to living at Stafford. In summary, Stafford Apartments truly offers the best of both worlds: excellent management, a welcoming atmosphere, a vibrant neighborhood, and convenient access to work. A great location with a good price point for the space and great management. The price is good (at least it was for me YMMV, and neg) as it includes utilities which is great for budgeting. Internet is good as it’s fiber and your own network. The location is prime, right on the square so great for all the events and green space. There’s laundry onsite in the basement updated as of this year (2024). Was there for a number of years and was very very happy that the latest property manager Christine was brought on-board and she’s the reason I stayed on for an extra 2-3 years as I was considering leaving. She’s made iterative improvements to the building (likely as budget allows) and I know she’ll do more. She’s prompt with repairs/issues, honest with interactions and makes needed and noticeable improvements to the building which is a large plus in renting. The building is dated (Zelda and F. Scott stayed there) so the elevator is…moody, so a lower floor worked for me and be aware of it for moving. Also if you’re looking for granite countertops and the latest appliances this might not be your speed. But if you’re looking for a great location and appropriate price point and great and respectful management the Stafford will work for you.
