Union on 24th, austin-tx

Update: 8/25/2026 I have heard from the Union on 24th manager twice addressing my concerns, so I do appreciate that there was followup and genuine concern to make sure all matters were resolved. Due to this, I am increasing my rating from 1 to 3 because at least leadership is responsive. If you don't have to live here, don't. The customer service is probably one of the worst cases I have seen in my life. I don't know who manages this place, but they need to invest in employee training or start paying better to get quality personnel. Not to mention the problems the property has, including extremely slow elevators that are out of commission at times and grills that just started working after years of existing. It's just extremely badly run and isn't worth the exorbitant cost of living. There will probably be retribution against my child for writing this review but more folks need to call out this place so that others don't make the mistake of living here if you don't have to. Update: They also make you pay for parking fees in months you weren't living there, and they charged a lease violation that was never explained. When I called to ask what it was for, I was told the person who handled that was out and would get back to me. That was over 3 weeks ago.

Hannah and Rafael on the move in team are EXCELLENT. They helped us all day long and made everyone feel so welcome despite the long lines of freshmen moving in. They represented the Union beautifully to everyone and made us so excited for my daughter to live there 🙏

THE WORSE MANAGEMENT: Maybe get off making your Insta reels and start focusing on your residents. Graduation was a nightmare. Air filters never changed. Amenities always taken over by randoms. Management is ran by college students, that should say enough. Don’t even get me started with this Walmart security team they have going on. Absolutely sad how downhill this place has gone. This place is the new Standard. DO NOT SIGN HERE unless you want to hate “your new home”. False advertisement, this isn’t home this is a below average complex. Not to mention, there’s also a creep roaming around this place making residents so uncomfortable. Yet they don’t care. They continue to take my review down but this needs to stay up. It’s the TRUTH

Overpriced and Terrible Management Don't let the nice pictures fool you. The staff is only friendly until you sign the lease, after which they become rude and unsupportive. The amenities—like the rooftop grill—rarely work, and with only 1 or 2 out of 8 elevators working at a time, the wait times are ridiculous. Packages are constantly lost, and management does absolutely nothing to fix these problems. For the premium price you pay, this place is completely worthless.

I had the pleasure of meeting Tony, one of the maintenance workers here at Union on 24th, and honestly, he made my whole day. From the moment we talked, his energy was uplifting—such a positive, genuine, and wholesome guy. You can tell right away that he takes pride in what he does and is always ready to lend a hand. Tony doesn’t just do his job—he goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and taken care of. What a legend. People like Tony are rare, and Union is lucky to have him on the team!
