I will give zero star if I can. Worst place ever. Gym equipments are always broken and no one will fix it for months. Pool is so shallow it’s a joke that only look good on a picture. Worst part is the communication with the front office. My roommate and I have been emailing them almost every month asking about the detail of our utility bill, especially electricity, and no one ever responded. There are months that we are abroad for the whole month and we turned off the AC for whole month and we still got charged $120 each for the electricity. I moved out in June and cleared out everything, and now I got an outstanding charges for over $300 (screenshot). They are charging me $175 for electricity which I never used, and $50 for a single floor mat that I forgot to throw away. On top of that they are nitpicking every corner of the appliance to see if it’s shiny enough just to charge you more. Do not ever stay here!

I moved out of Grand Marc at 10:00am. My new apartment doesn't have wifi. I decide to come back to Grand Marc to use a study room to do my homework, a study room I've been consistently using for the two years I've lived there. A staff member on a complete power trip kicks me out. I try to reason with her by saying how I just need a quiet place for a couple hours to take my exam, and she tells me the study rooms are for residents only and that I should go to a Starbucks. Completely ridiculous. Also, during my time living there, construction from the new apartments being built next door completely obstructed any natural light from entering my living room, construction that I was not notified of before initially moving in and would've changed my decision to live there. It lasted my entire residency and left screws, dust, and mice on my balcony, no matter how much I swept. This, among other things (unresponsive maintenance, so many roaches, people having sex in the study rooms at night, me having to call 911 because of a man verbally abusing his girlfriend in the hallway, screaming at the top of his lungs at 2:00am for about an hour and having no follow-up from any of the staff despite my questioning.) Grand Marc's condescending, ungracious, prissy, revolving-door staff are truly nasty at times, but honestly it's pretty much what you'd expect from most West Campus student apartments. Living at Grand Marc was a constant reminder of everything that's wrong with Austin.

Although our UT student will not move in until Fall 2026, her father and I went to tour the GrandMarc Austin in anticipation of her residency here and we were well pleased. The lobby has been creatively updated and the staff was welcoming. Our guide, Avery, immediately tended to us upon entering even though she was in the middle of sorting packages. She took time with us touring, answering all our questions ( I had A LOT), and even gave suggestions based on our needs and desires. She is awesome and made us both feel very confident in our choice to lease there. We look forward to move in and will post review then as well.

Grandmarc is great! My unit is extremely spacious compared to other west campus apartments, and I love all of the amenities. Maintenance is quick and easy to navigate and the mail/package system is well organized! The one thing I miss from old management is receiving emails when our packages arrive, but since the building is transitioning into new management, that might be something they could do later! Love living here!

Lived here for two years. Its proximity to campus definitely is what convinced me to move here two years ago. Very convenient location. The rooms are spacious and maintenance is fast.
