I lived at Camino Flats for one year, and I had such a great experience! The community feels very safe, it’s super close to campus, and the maintenance team responds incredibly quickly whenever anything comes up. Everyone in the office was always kind and helpful. A special thank you to Marla and Coco for making my time here even better, you both were amazing! I would definitely recommend Camino Flats to students looking for a comfortable and convenient place to live.

I’ve lived here for almost two years, and I’m not the type to leave bad reviews, but I feel like I have to warn others. DO NOT MOVE IN unless you’re okay with constant water leaks whenever it rains (or even when it doesn’t—yes, really). I’ve been dealing with this for two months, and despite the ongoing issue, they never offered to move me to another unit or let me break my lease. Their only response? ‘You should just keep living in this condition!’ I’m moving out soon (even though they’re trying to make it difficult), but I really hope no one else has to go through the same suffering I have. Seriously. On top of that, people frequently enter the apartment by climbing over doors. I had a disturbing experience and asked if there were security cameras, but they told me there aren’t any. So, if you don’t mind putting your physical and mental well-being at risk, go ahead and move in. Otherwise, stay far away. :)

I've been living here for a year now and couldn't be happier with the experience. The location is incredibly convenient to the university. The bus stop is a 5 minute walk, and very close to grocery stores, and everything else I need on a daily basis. What really sets this place apart, though, is the management. They're highly responsive, friendly, and genuinely care about the residents. Any maintenance requests are handled quickly and efficiently, which is definitely the highlight of this place! The community is well-maintained, quiet, and safe. The fire pit is a great addition especially for the winters. Highly recommend!

This is my second year at Camino Flats and I’ve really enjoyed my time here. My roommates and I (all 3 of us are women) have never felt unsafe in the complex and I actually really like the vibe here. It’s always clean and the courtyards are a nice spot to hangout or study at. In my unit specifically, we never had any issues with water leakage/damage. Any issues we did have were quickly taken care of by management or maintenance, Marla and Coco have been awesome. I truly feel cared for as a resident, especially compared to other student housing experiences I’ve heard my friends go through. I’d recommend Camino Flats to any student.

The rent is super affordable for what you get - spacious rooms, great amenities, and excellent maintenance service. Whenever there’s even a small issue, the maintenance team shows up incredibly fast and even sends real-time updates on your phone if you’re not at home. They’re professional and genuinely trustworthy. The community itself is very peaceful - no traffic noise, clean surroundings, and a cozy common area with a barbeque and fireplace that’s perfect for weekend evenings. It’s also a gated community with a mobile gate-pass system, which adds an extra layer of safety and convenience. Each apartment is fully equipped with a washer, dryer, stove, fridge, microwave, and oven, so you don’t need to worry about anything from day one. The location is another big plus - just a short 4-minute walk to the bus stop, and grocery stores are nearby too. Being close to UT Austin makes it perfect for both students and working professionals like me. Overall, this place feels like a perfect balance of comfort, safety, and convenience. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Austin!
