West & Wright Apartments, auburn-al

My son lived here for 2 years. Great location close to campus! Any time there was an issue they were more than helpful and expedient. Outside of some wifi issues, the place was great - relatively quiet, own room, nice grounds. They could use more / larger garbage bins - that seems like it should be an easy fix - but many times on the weekends they start to overflow. No complaints for a college apartment at all.

Honest review from someone who has lived here during most of my time at Auburn - The water has gone out multiple times since I’ve lived here. Last year it was out for 5-6 days and I had to go to a friend’s apartment just to shower and do laundry. There are three elevators, and somehow they’re constantly broken. During weekends/gameday theyll sometimes all be down. It actually baffles me how many times ive seen them repair these elevators - Packages usually take one to two days just to get logged into the mailroom and they just sit in their office - The building is on the busiest street in auburn, so getting out of the parking garage is a nightmare (can take 3 minutes just to take a left on West Gleen). - The Wi-Fi goes down regularly. Multiple times have I had to walk to the Libary just to work on an assignemnt bc of the WIFI - The place is honestly gets pretty gross. Trash routinely piles up in the trash chutes and ends up overflowing into the hallways. - The bike room is always flooded with 1-2 inches of water - Usally takes multiple weeks for them to repair any of the broken amentities that are in the apartment. This apartment is genually a joke among students at Auburn. You'll tell someone that you live here and they will actually laugh about it. There's WAY better options for the same price

Horrible place to send your child. As a parent, it’s extremely concerning to see how little management cares about the safety and well being of their residents. They clearly prioritize money over people. Management doesn’t listen to residents or their concerns, allowing issues like smoking weed in stairwells, a sewage leak that was left for three days, and even stalking on the premises. I’ve spoken with other mothers who have dealt with similar situations. The Wi-Fi constantly goes out and often takes days to be fixed, with no effort made to provide a solution. As a parent, it’s frustrating to know others and I are paying high rent prices for unreliable service, especially when college students depend on internet access to complete their work. While the maintenance staff are kind, they fail to properly fix recurring issues such as AC and refrigerator leaks. The only positive thing about this apartment complex is their cleaning lady, she is phenomenal and deserves recognition for her hard work.

West and Wright is a fantastic place to live and I definitely suggest disregarding the ridiculously negative reviews! The staff is so sweet and they are constantly doing fun things for the residents. I use the fitness center almost daily and love it, it's such a blessing to have a full gym a few floors below me! The location is truly UNBEATABLE, it's awesome to have such a short walk to class. I really appreciate the parking deck (keeping my car cool in the heat and it's comforting to know my car is protected!) I have thoroughly enjoyed my apartment and look forward to living here next year too!

I enjoy living here! It's so close to campus and at a great location. I love having a gym, pool, and tanning bed at my apartment. The study rooms are also great because the free printing is so convenient. The staff I have worked with have been very friendly and helpful. They also host lots of events for the residents to go to and often offer breakfast or bring snacks by our rooms on random occasions. I also love that the apartments are furnished!
