The Standard at Auburn, auburn-al

Loved touring this community with my daughter! We arrived a little later than expected for our scheduled tour after camp war eagle but John Allan was happy to take us on a tour throughout the facility and the show apartment. She really loved the rooftop pool. John Allan was very friendly and knowledgeable about the community and Auburn. I appreciated how he let my daughter take videos of the pool and other areas without feeling rushed. After the tour, he even gave us a gift bag full of Standard gear and accessories for me and daughter as a welcoming gift. That was a nice touch. Looking forward to having my daughter attend Auburn and live at the Standard!

If you have a dog do not move here. Part of the reason i moved in was because they have a dog washing station. Upon move-in in August 2025, it was not working. I went to the front desk and they said it should be working in the next few weeks. Went again in October, same answer. In the winter, they said it would be fixed in the spring. In the spring, they told me it would be a few weeks. Literally dozens of front desk visits (because why wash my dog in my tub when there’s a washing station that can be fixed??). Every time they forwarded it to their manager but nothing was done. Still, nothing by the time Summer rolled around. I left in May, came back today June 26, and guess what? Still broken, and same response from the front desk and manager “it will be fixed in the near future”. LIES!!!😭 Pros: dog park Cons: dog park not cleaned by staff, it’s pick up your own poop and some owners do not… may transmit disease I will say maintenance is amazing and they deserve so much praise, they are so kind and helpful. Front desk is so kind as well, the manager is lacking followthrough.

Nolan was so helpful and informative! We popped in for a last minute tour and he was so patient with all our questions! True southern hospitality! So looking forward to moving into the Standard.

The Standard team was on point as we inquired about room options for my daughter. The team was diligent, honest, and the communication was clear and supportive. We didn’t end staying with them because other opportunities came along from the University. However, they earned 100% our trust. Thank you!

We have not moved in yet. So the reveiw is based on the leasing portion of our experience. The customer service has been fantastic. Easy to get in touch with and returns phone calls. Hopefully, they have addressed the negative reviews.
