I had a wonderful move in experience! Kahlill is TOP TIER ! Very good communication and very friendly the entire staff actually. I love my apartment and my move in process was so smooth. They make sure to hit everything on the nail no issues with me!

Elijah and Frankia were so helpful throughout my entire moving process. From the initial tour, to answering all of my questions and being consistently responsive, they truly made what can be a stressful experience feel seamless and easy. They were incredibly kind, accommodating, and patient every step of the way, which made a huge difference. Thank you both for all of your help—I can’t wait to move in!

This is a long review and I'll be honest it's just a rant. So, I wish I had checked Yelp reviews before deciding to move into their building a year ago. Well, guess what? I moved out, literally running three months before my lease was up! The reason? Their lack of urgency in fixing damaged property on their site. Doors off the hinges, security measures completely damaged—like their garage doors not being fixed for months, or the door that leads to the inside from the garage fourth floor broken off its hinges for six months. Allowing anyone to enter the building! And let’s not forget the people I’ve seen standing at their cars at the crack of dawn, wondering why their vehicles have been broken into. Oh, and did I mention that as a resident, you’re also at risk of having your own car booted? My first week of living there, for some strange reason, my sticker was ripped off while parked on the fourth floor. My car automatically locks, so that was weird. The boot men will also boot your guests’ cars while you’re registering them and refuse to take them until you pay them their $70 dollars! That’s just the tip of the iceberg. I was a student in need of a place closer to campus, so my dad, my guarantor, helped me find one. I was someone who needed help paying for these unpredictable fees, so I can’t even imagine how the things I’m about to say would impact someone paying all of these fees and the implications on their own! They charge you for not tying your garbage bag correctly, even if you haven’t put your garbage out in months. I would just take it directly to the dumpster most of the time. Even when I was away on vacation, I got a $50 fee for not putting my trash can back inside… I wasn’t even home, and my trash can remained inside for that entire week! Additionally, they have these sneaky charges for miscellaneous things that you don’t even realize until you see that your rent has gone up $200. So, after you decide to finally leave this hellhole, just be prepared to not get any of your security deposit back. I mean, none of it. They make you pay a cleaning fee just to charge you $85 for something to be “cleaned” again. And on top of that, they will try to scam you and say you didn’t pay your rent on time a month before you move out so they can get double the rent, even if you did, which we have receipts of it being paid. I have to say the staff are friendly, but it’s a very scammy environment. If this doesn’t deter you from living here, then I don’t know what will. Good luck!

There are not enough words that I can say about my experience at this property. As a forewarning, I’m an incredibly analytical person, and I do a fair amount of vetting before committing to one thing. When it comes to investment, especially in housing, I just have to be sure. Elijah has certainly impressed me and provided an exceptional customer service experience from beginning to end. As a person that has a firsthand and recurring role in the enrichment of the client experience, I can really appreciate the time he took, and the patience he displayed throughout my inquiry and application process. Honestly, the entire office has been phenomenal and very welcoming to me. They even gave me a goody bag after my tour (so cute lol). The rates were aggressive, the floor plans are really spacious (yes to the closets), and I admire the community events they shared that they often host. I feel like those efforts really take it from being just a housing complex to being a home. Grant Park is a blooming area that I frequent quite often, so I’m very excited to become a part of the Platform family. Thank you all again for your time and attention. 10s across the board. I definitely recommend visiting this property and seeing everything they have to offer.

I’ve lived at Platform for two years, and five stars truly doesn’t reflect how amazing the staff is. From property management to the maintenance team, everyone is consistently kind, helpful, and accommodating. Although I’m moving on, I would recommend this community in a heartbeat. Tania and Frankia are incredibly kind, responsive, and always prompt with property updates and communication. Khalill is exceptionally helpful and truly a problem-solver. “I don’t know” or “I can’t help you” has never once come out of his mouth. He consistently goes above and beyond and would absolutely excel in a manager role. Elijah also deserves recognition for his positive attitude and constant smile. He has brightened the experience.
