** 2 weeks into staying here ** I want to say with ANY student living complex if you expecting perfection, just get your own place. But if you want something with a home feeling, in a convenient location and relatively cheaper price; choose Paloma. I waited before writing this review. So i can confidently say the pros outweigh the cons . S/o to the fast, attentive and professional staff as well. Karthik and Kayin from my entrance to exit attended to my needs thoroughly although i came for a MOVE - IN 30 minutes before they were set to leave. Kiara is the sweetest fr. She responded FAST and any MINOR issue i’ve had, she’s gotten on it. She also gave me the best move in gift !! FREE RENT . If that sounds good to you gone and apply and see what they got for you. Pros: - cheaper rent - convenience store/ food shops directly below - Two parking garages w/ free alternative street parking - bike lock-up ( this may seem like a bare minimum ) CLEAN and odorless property ( stairs, hallways, elevator) Cons: - ROOMMATES. Please prepare yourself to potentially stay with someone who doesn’t have the same mindset as you. If not, it may have you experience Paloma differently when really its a specific person. - The elevator is slow at some points. But i think that it’s because theres only one ?? - there may be small fixtures ( if any ) but Kiara immediately gets it handled when notified so not really a con. ** will update to continue reflecting full transparency but Paloma West Midtown and the staff 9/10.

I have had great time living at this location. The rent is really good for the location. You are left alone in a good way to go about your day. Maintenance is pretty quick. Leasing office is pretty chill and welcoming, Marlon and Melissa were awesome today helping me my lease transfer. If I ever came back to school, you’d find me living here.

So I’ve just moved here I’d give it a perfect 5 , but it’s only my 2nd month. What I will say is they have worked effortlessly to get me in here. It’s been an easy move in and I’m very impressed by what I see. The building is new and you can tell. They keep it immaculate. They respond and follow up . The staff members that I’ve met thus far are very chill and pleasant…. My Unit I absolutely love it’s perfect for me and everything is updated… I don’t have any complaints ….

I had such a great experience at Paloma West Midtown thanks to Kiara, Angel, and Christal! From the moment I walked in, they were all incredibly welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Kiara made sure everything ran smoothly, Angel brought such a positive and upbeat energy, and Christal went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Their teamwork and genuine kindness really stood out and made the whole experience special. Highly recommend!

Overall, the apartment and maintenance team at Paloma West are amazing. The amenities are always available without any inconveniences, and the area generally feels safe and secure. However, the leasing team and property manager's handling of a serious harassment issue was deeply concerning and completely unacceptable. Paloma West uses a ButterflyMX system at the main door, which unfortunately allows strangers to contact residents directly. On three separate occasions this year, a group of guys used this to "prank" call a tenant up to five times at 2:00 AM. This tenant had already made it abundantly clear to these individuals that they wanted absolutely nothing to do with them, instructing them to stay away due to their erratic and concerning behavior. After the late-night calls continued, the tenant contacted the front office the next day, providing the exact times and dates to request video footage. The goal was to take this evidence to the Georgia Tech Police for a formal warning. Instead of helping, the front desk claimed they were too busy with financial meetings to even relay the message to the property manager, telling the tenant to email her instead. Upon finally meeting, the manager refused to release or show the footage, stating it could only be viewed if a formal report was made to the Atlanta Police. She offered to "unofficially" look to see if it was just a system glitch, but then completely ghosted the tenant for days. Tired of waiting with no follow-up, the tenant called the police. Suddenly, the property manager changed her story. She stated she would only show the footage to the officers, explicitly barring the resident from seeing it. While the tenant was explaining the full situation to the police, the property manager abruptly and unprofessionally walked away mid-conversation to go back to her office. The tenant provided photos of the suspects to the officers to verify their suspicions. After a private meeting in the office, the police emerged to say they didn't actually see the video themselves; instead, the manager simply told them she checked the ButterflyMX camera, claimed nobody was there, and labeled the 2 AM calls a "glitch." The tenant then politely asked the front desk assistant if the manager could check the footage 10 minutes before and after the incident. The assistant dismissively replied, "I don't think that's necessary, she probably checked much farther before and after." The manager overheard and escorted the tenant to her office. While sitting right in front of the tenant, the manager supposedly reviewed a 20-minute window of footage in a mere matter of minutes, once again claiming she saw no one and blaming a "glitch." It was highly obvious she was not doing a thorough review, if she looked at all. Later that same day, the tenant confirmed through various independent sources that this specific group of guys were indeed the ones making those calls at that exact time and location. The leasing office and the property manager blatantly lied and invalidated the tenant's valid suspicions regarding a clear-cut case of harassment, likely just to save themselves time and effort. While the physical building is nice, be warned: if your safety or peace of mind is threatened, this management team will not have your back, will give you the runaround, and will lie to avoid doing their jobs.
