What I like about Strive Academy is that you’ll learn how to live independently, socialize with your roommates if you’re in a 2,3 or 4 person bedroom. You’ll also have a bedroom key for your room, a key fob for locking the main apartment door from the outside and a trail point pass at building 5 where there are two swimming pools, an indoor track upstairs, a stair master, exercise bikes, treadmills, two basketball gyms and group fitness classes from first semester to second semester. My classmates and I leave from the lobby which is first floor of Campusview Student Housing at 8:30am and arrive class at 8:45am but class starts at 9:00am Monday through Friday but Thursdays we have field trips.

$600 something a month will get you: dirty hallways with the strongest smell of weed i've ever experienced, terrible wi-fi, rude neighbors at best if not evil, multiple car break-ins, and the laundry machines were old, dirty, and either didn't work or soaked my laundry entirely 🙃 the only pros were the location and that it was better than the other student living apartments, which really doesn't say much. they also left a bunch of students snowed into the parking lot (when i tried calling the emergency number it straight up did not work) and now visitors risk getting towed? would not recommend this apartment to anyone

Was supposed to move in today and even under new management this place still sucks!! My key does not work to my apartment and there is absolutely nobody at any properties to help. Now have to drive back 2 hours to my parents house. Not even “emergency maintenance” answers their phone on the weekends. What a joke.

These guys recently bought CampusView Student Housing on DMACC campus. They proceed to remove promised amenities, and give 24 hour notice to enter over the span of two weeks. You must give 24 hour notice to enter a unit for each instance. Huge violation of privacy and our right to quiet living. Furthermore, the gross lack of communication has created confusion, tention, and fear, with paying rent. Some of us have no clue who or how to talk to management since they removed the on site office . To all current residents: lawyer up.

When we moved my daughter in the cabinets were still full of someone else’s food and cleaning supplies. The kitchen light and air conditioning didn’t work, it smelled, there was still laundry in the dryer and her room looked like someone shook a soda and sprayed it all over the walls. The blinds in the living room were broke, the chairs had holes in the arms, and it was overall VERY dirty. Although we had been told that it had been cleaned and ready to go. After HOURS of cleaning we finally got the place to look presentable and feel like I was not dropping my child off at a prison. The air conditioning wasn’t fixed until it was too cold to actual use it. The kitchen light took weeks to get repaired. These college aged kids had to beg the office to do something. One roommate moved out after just a few days because of the condition and lack of movement on repairs. The hallways were absolutely disgusting. I am not sure they had been cleaned in a few years and also had furniture storage. The secure door didn’t lock, the gym that the advertised hardly had a working equipment. And the worst part of all is she left this place 100 times better than she had when she moved in and they still kept her deposit. When she called they stated they had no record of her paying one. Parents, I wouldn’t let my kid move there if I had to choose again. It’s gross and a little shady!
