I cannot speak on the actual living experience at Block20 because I never moved in. This review is based on my experience with their communication and how my situation was handled before moveing in. My concerns: - I contacted Block20’s phone number and AI system to told me my move-in date was July 20. - I relied on that information because it came from one of Block20’s official communication channel. - I was later told the AI cannot access account-specific information, yet it answered my account question as if it could. - I was told questions the AI cannot answer are supposed to be ticketed, but mine was not. - I was later told by another employee that the AI can sometimes provide incorrect information. This situation had left me with only a few days to figure out housing. As I write this I currently have one more day until my current lease ends. As a 21-year-old student living eight hours away from home while completing an internship, the stress of not knowing where I would stay was overwhelming. Never in my life did I think I would be questioning where I would sleep in a matter of days. I have never experienced housing instability before, and the anxiety this caused is truly something I never felt before. I found myself constantly thinking about it, even at work, and the stress became so intense that I experienced anxiety-related chest pain and broke down in tears a few times because I genuinely did not know what I was going to do. Management explained that the lease could not be broken since it is a legally binding contract. The only alternatives offered were the possibility of temporary housing, if available, or the LTO process with fees and continued lease responsibility. Both were presented as possibilities, not guaranteed solutions. My issue is not that a mistake happened. Mistakes happen. My issue is that the misinformation came from Block20’s own communication system, and I was left to deal with the consequences. I trusted Block20 to provide accurate information when I called to verify my lease, and that trust was misplaced. I cannot speak on the quality of living at Block20 because I never moved in, but I can speak on how I was treated as a before moving-in. Based on this experience, I could not and would not recommend Block20. The lack of transparency surrounding their AI system, the conflicting explanations I received, and the absence of a meaningful resolution have left me with little confidence in how the company communicates with and supports tenants and prospective tenants.

Transportation is horrible! They don't even follow the bus schedule and the bus is always broken down. Don't stay here if you don't have a car. The maintenance is so slow. It takes forever to get someone to fix something. The place is dirty, disgusting, and a lot of things are broken before you move in. They also keep raising rent here and it's getting too expensive for the amount of cons.

Best place to be at since I’ve moved in years! Inexpensive and amenities right on site such as pool and fitness center included! Very new too.

Devon and Nez at Block 20 were super helpful throughout the whole leasing process. They made everything really easy to understand, helped me get set up quickly, and were patient with my situation. They answered all my questions and made sure everything was handled smoothly. Definitely appreciate their support—great experience overall.

I love this place! My friend lives here and I come over often and it is very clean and inviting to the guests. There are even a pool/grill and a very nice gym. I will definitely be signing my lease here soon!
